Beauty Moisturizer, Hydrating, Firmer and Smoother Skin Non Greasy - Hyaluronic Acid Face Cream 1.7 Fl Oz

Goodness, what to say. I have very sensitive skin, and many products make my skin red and angry, or make me break out. I have a very sensitive nose, and most skin care products make me ill due to fragrances, even 'fragrance free' products. This moisturizer makes my skin soft and supple without irritating it, and extremely mild scent it has (just from the ingredients) goes away within ten minutes of spreading it on my skin (and my partner can't smell it at all - just my sensitive nose). I haven't gotten any directly in my eye, but most products even near my eye will make my eyes sting, and I haven't noticed that so far. I would say that this seems to be healing my skin, but I do use a different moisturizer in the morning, to avoid deactivating the retinol. This moisturizer is very light and absorbs quickly, and I like to have a bit of a protective barrier during the day if I'm not wearing sunscreen, keep my skin dewy. :) I will come back to this review in a month or two, see how it treats my skin over time, as retinol is definitely something that takes time to work. I'm fairly certain the skin around my eyes is already improved, less delicate and sunken, but it's only been a few days. I am 27, so barely seeing the signs of aging, but I'm happy to be starting early with giving my skin what it needs to be healthy and beautiful. I didn't have any trouble with the pump, and I like that I can dispense a very small amount at a time. The bottle is very pleasing to hold, and a good shape.

I have been using the Retinol Moisturizer for about three months and it is a quality product at a great price. I have always had sensitive skin and as I grow older (age 72) my skin has become drier. I use this at night after a good cleansing. It is very light weight, non-greasy, a nice light scent. I have been using products with Retinol and hyaluronic acid for some years now and they really do make a difference. Many of these products are pricey, though, and not always with the same positive attributes that I just mentioned. Results after my few months of use include smoother skin, noticeable decrease in wrinkles around mouth and eyes, overall brighter complexion. I am also using a gentle exfoliator about once a week. I love this moisturizer and just ordered my second bottle.

I really would like to know how much retinol is actually is in this formulation. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with this moisturizer. It goes on thinly and it's a nice enough moisturizer, but after well over a month of use, I have seen no change in the appearance of my skin. If you have dry skin, I don't think you will find this moisturizing enough. If you prefer a lighter moisturizer, then this is a good choice. If you really want an antiaging product, then I'd try one that states at least 1% retinol and work your way up to daily use. How fast you can start using a 1% formulation daily entirely depends on your skin type. I have a tube of 1% retinol that I started using a while ago starting with just my forehead. I found it a bit drying (flakiness) at first, but persisted, and now I can use it daily with no problem. I am also starting to notice positive changes in some fine lines that have become shallower in less than a month. My skin is smoother and more even too. I may have a way to go, but I'm a determined gal-good luck Update:7/1/15-Despite my wondering if this Retinol Cream had enough of a percentage of Retinol in it, I have continued to use it. I even bought my second bottle a while back. I have discovered over time that it seems to be working. I don't think I gave it enough time to do its thing since it is a milder form of retinol. What I did find out was that in my using a 1% retinol on certain areas of my face (forehead, between the eyes) last winter, that I was having an increased problem with dryness and flakiness in those areas. So now I am only using the Tree of Life Retinol Moisturizer and finding that my face is showing improvement (except when I do have a Rosacea flare, I don't use it then). I'm seeing some decreases in fine lines on my forehead, between my eyes, and on my upper lip and upper chin areas. I'm still not seeing any changes in the marionette lines. I especially like using it on my neck & chest area as my only moisturizer. I do use an additional moisturizer on my cheeks & temples where my skin is very dry. In my t-zone this moisturizer is sufficient in the summer months. It has a nice consistency--smooth, very spreadable, soft feeling. And my favorite fact about it is that there are no silicones at all (such as dimethicone) in it which tend to cause me plugged up pores. It's also loaded with other great ingredients for the face too such as aloe and hyaluronic acid (holds 1000X it's weight in water thus keeping the face plumped up and moist). Yes, my opinion has changed for the better, so IMO it is better to watch your progress over a longer period of time than 1 month to really see results.

I have been using Tree of Life Beauty products for a few years. I love their products. The Retinol and Vitamin C moisturizers work wonderful and the serums are exceptionally good.

Its too liquidy

First of all, I love how this product is so inexpensive and affordable unlike other brands. And for 2% of retinol!!! I think that’s amazing for the price. I already see a bit of change in my skin, and I’ve only been using this product for 2 nights. I 100% recommended and I will definitely be repurchasing when I finish the cream.

The moisturizer is very light on my face not heavy and not greasy. It minimizes the lines on my forehead. This is already my second in buying the moisturizer. Im totally satisfied with the result.

Initially I thought the cream will be too thick for my oily skin but I was surprised the cream gets absorbed into my skin easily. It has a mild peppermint smell ( smell a little like toothpaste ) but I like it. For those who do not like the smell, not to worry coz the peppermint smell dissipates after a while. My face feels hydrated and non greasy. One or two pump are enough, a little goes a Long way. I also put it spread it under and around my eyes. I just got the package today and this is my first try but I am impressed. I will add another review maybe after a week to see how it goes.

Its been just 3 days, and it has been good so far. I'll post the results in 4 weeks as an update. Good price for the product.
