It’s more pricey than all the rest but it is well worth it. I’ve bought others and the colours weren’t right, and it had lines across the screen even on 1080. However, don’t expect this to be crystal clear, it can’t do miracles but it gives the best quality of any alternative out there.

This works well. I had to get it because the HDTV it's being used on, doesn't have Component inputs.It works well and the picture is as expected for non HD.The ONLY minor issue and as expected, that it does not fill the screen 100%.There's a thin black line top and bottom of the image.It's not thick, so it's acceptable.I may decide to get a Wii switch (or whatever it's called) and then I can move the Wii U over to this TV for full HD/full screen.So as a work around, I do recommend THIS particular device.

Just avoid any of the cheap Wii2HDMI adapters flooding on Amazon or other online stores and just buy this one. I've had issues with two previous adapters where there were lines going across the screen diagonally. I don't have any of these issues with this one while it's smaller and shorter than any of the other adapters. It actually sticks out less than the Wii's power cord adapter.If I had to nitpick, I'd say that the colors and contrast feel a bit muted compared to the other adapters which honestly is a quick fix with your TV/Monitor setting.

I got this for my Wii, to use on a large LCD television. It definitely is a step up from using RCA (yellow, red, white) cables, and seems to be moreso comparable to the component cables. It looks great on the TV.Be warned, this may or may not work in different resolution modes on your TV. I know I need to use the 480p (I think) mode with the TV (as opposed to "i'"). As a result, you need to be careful as some games do not support it in 480p (e.g. Mega Man X Collection), but those games are only a few in the entire library of games. For everything else (almost every other game out there), it's wonderful and with progressive scan mode on, makes the games look amazing (in ways I'd never expect)!

I finally found an HDMI adapter that works better than exepted. I tried some cheap Wii2HDMI, they were all bad quality. This one is the definitive edition of the HDMI adapter, it is even smaller. I have two Wiis on two TVs, the other one is using the Hyperkin cable and find that they're very similar in quality. Both output at 480p.So, if you want a good HDMI picture from the Wii, either buy this or the Hyperkin cable.
