The tools in the kit worked very well in cutting, splicing and crimping two coaxial cables together for an attic tv antenna. One must just follow carefully the enclosed instructions and measure carefully the appropriate cutting lengths on the cables before crimping.

I picked this up as I had to cut off an ethernet jack off a long Cat5e cable from my Power-over-Ethernet powered outdoor camera (Vivint). I was nervous to cutoff the ethernet jack, but couldn't get the wire through the wall with it attached. I quickly found this kit on Amazon, ordered it, and cut the old head off to finish up the de-installation job.A few days later, this arrived. Quick youtube video tutorial, and I did it all perfectly on my first try. This kit came with everything and more. To be honest, I'm not even sure what other parts are for, but it came with the crimper, a new jack, and all the tools to do it properly. Definitely recommend, especially for the price.
