HANDY & ECOLOGICAL
For some years, I've owned a device which, instead of using staples, joins sheets of paper by cutting a small flange and forcing it through them. The Kokuyo is a marked improvement on my original device, requiring less pressure and cutting a sagittate flange, which does not readily become detached. The Kokuyo can accommodate three sheets of 80 g paper easily, four at a pinch. In most situations, it makes an ecologically-sound replacement for a conventional stapler; I recommend it for any home or office.

Can't believe this works - but it does!
I use staples a lot at work and I was getting fed up of them, then I discovered this thing and decided to take a punt on it. I am AMAZED it actually works. I've only tried it on about 6 sheets, but it keeps them all together nicely with ough having to put up with the tiny metal nightmares. Only downside it doesn't look quite as neat as it has to rear the paper to fold it round, but it's a tiny little blemish (smaller than a hole punch) so I'll put up with it.

Awesome, an very small.
*Very small*, ideal for stapling receipts together for expenses, or joining sheets of proofs into spreads.Do be aware it really won't handle as many sheets as it's (also awesome) big brother version. Fro this one, 5 sheets of 80gsm paper is the absolute limit, but it struggles a bit, I wouldn't regularly staple more than 4 sheets of 80gsm. Also if the paper is any thicker (e.g. 100gsm), you'll find 4 sheets is the max.

Substantial and functional.
I have used a 'staple-less' stapler for several decades. They are so much nicer than having a file full of little metal staples. Only real wear and tear eventually rendered my faithful friend inoperable and I had to replace it. The Harinacs Compact Alpha device doesn't do the job in exactly the same way, but the end effect is equally efficient and pleasing. The high quality of manufacture is obvious. A good purchase and a prompt delivery.

SORRY Kokuyo Stapleless Stapler
THE ONLY THING I CAN GIVE 4 STARS TO THE KOKUYO STAPELESS STAPLER IS THAT IT IS EASY TO USE BUT OTHERWISE IT IS A LOAD OF EXSPENSIVE RUBBISH. WHEN STAPLING THE PAPER IT LEAVES A HOLE AND MAKES WORDS UNREADABLE ON PRINTED DOCUMENTS. IF IT WASN'T SO DEAR TO SEND IT BACK I CERTAINLY WOULD. COME BACK MY OLD STAPLER ALL IS FORGIVEN. THEY SAY YOU LEARN BY YOUR MISTAKES AND I CERTAINLY DID WHEN I BOUGHT THIS LOAD OF RUBBISH.
