Brilliant read and the most honest accurate depiction of a woman the media created. This is the real person, not the fluff

I enjoyed reading another perspective of her life. I have read several books about her life and divorce etc. Hard to know where the truth lies but this one seemed balanced.

I like reading about real people and the person behind any construct. Lady Campbell brings to light the Diana behind the constructed image, and how she came to be married to the then Prince Charles, and details about the marriage - it was quite eye-opening. She describes life in the Royals and the life Diana had prior to marrying into the British Royals- for instance Diana at 18 years old as a result of an inheritance on her 18th birthday from her American heiress grandmother or great grandmother-she bought her own flat for about 50,000 pounds (I think that is the amount) and set about redoing it; and how the aristocracy works; and how the Royal system works- I found it very interesting and read it through as soon as possible because I found it so interesting. Bottom line: not everything and anyone who glitters is golden; people are people regardless of their status.

Lady Colin Campbel is a fantastic writer, so well writen and so easy to read. The book is a no-holds-barred aspect on Diana from one who seems to know her and her most intimate behaviour very well indeed. However it was written whilst Diana was still alive so is slightly out of date in reality.
