This is an excellent, complicated Euro board game. Plan on spending 3-4 hours playing. Once you figure out how everything works, it flows nicely. The board is very nice, the pieces are a bit fidgety. Lots of things to remember. But if you like these types of games, this is one of the best. It is cutthroat, highly competitive, and engaging. Lots of different things to consider when taking a turn. The game is reasonably similar from one game to the next but you can mix up which player you are - and get different starting attributes. It is an asymetrical game - so each player starts with different starting benefits.
