Godfather Homburg Fedora Hat in White with Black Band

When my hat arrived it was packed in a perfect size box that contained it without it being crushed. Upon trying it on I discovered it was a bit too big, however stuffing the sweatband made the fit slightly more snug, the way I like it. The fit is the only reason I gave it four stars, not five, otherwise I really love this hat.This was the only hat on Amazon I could find that was my size and exactly the color scheme I wanted. At $89.95 (plus $12.95 shipping) it was more than I felt it should be compared to others, however it was my size and it was the only one I could find at any price that looked the way I wanted. This is a high quality hat. The 100% wool felt is treated to stiffen it, so it keeps its shape. I also purchased a Stacy Adams 100% wool felt homburg in black for $39.95 with free shipping. It seems to me to be even higher quality. I'm really happy with both of my purchases. So for a total of less than $145.00 I now own two high quality homburgs, for $72.50 each. Considering how nice both hats are, I feel like I paid a fair price for two high quality hats that will last for years. I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to a friend or anyone looking for a really nice hat. Though I'd never heard of the Shannon Phillips collection, I think they make an excellent hat. I'll wear this hat for formal occasions as well as casual get-togethers for a long time.

I purchased this hat for my husband...we are going to a Roaring 20's party and we are wearing black and white. Ha has the all black and an all white hat just like this one, however the black and white will be a hit!
