We love this tea kettle. Very sturdy and well built. The lid rattles when the water boils, instead of whistling, which we like. The metal parts of the kettle get hot so don't touch them but the wooden handle is cool so use it. Very satisfied and we recommend it to everyone.

I LOVE THIS!!! It looks exactly as pictured. I got the polished copper and wont worry if it tarnishes, it will add character. Its heavier then I expected and I didnt realize the handle is brass and wood! This is great because you can pick it up directly after boiling and no burns! I also like the spouts design. It pours where you expect and stops pouring the second you lift up. The spout is small so it pours a bit slowly. Also, I only got this kettle yesterday so I cant speak to longevity, however it is very well constructed so I expect it to last a very long time. I really love my beautiful new Turkish Copper Kettle!!! Should have got this along time ago!!!

This teapot is so skillfully made. I watched the video of how it was created and it was fascinating and impressive! Amazing craftspersons! The materials are strong and beautiful, I love using it, and it perfectly compliments the other copper items in our kitchen. (My only complaint is that the knob on the lid is hard to grab and the lid fits loosely so it easily falls off when you are emptying the pot.)

This teapot was a replacement for one we'd had from a different seller, and it's SO beautiful. It's a higher quality with heavy, solid copper construction. It was handmade in Turkey and it's truly a work of art. I love seeing little evidence of it being handmade like the hammered nails and the way things are attached. Other reviewers have said this isn't solid copper, but they're wrong. It is 100% solid copper. It has a liner for safety and health reasons since we boil water in it, but it's definitely 100% copper construction.We have a copper sink so I know how this piece will change over time and look forward to each stage. The patina and color change will only make it more special!

On arrival the teapot was very attractive and true to the pictures. However after just a few uses it becomes discolored and no longer attractive. Also the lid doesn’t hold. When you tip the teapot over the lid falls off allowing for steam to cause very painful burns. Going back to electric sadly

It is a beautiful pot. No whistle just listen for the lid to rattle. Be careful when pouring the lid falls off on occasion.

I was hesitant to order this tea pot as some reviews cautioned that the handle can melt when lowered and that it can burn since the pot bottom diameter is smaller than the burner. I was also concerned that it is a bit smaller than the regular size tea pot. But now I had it for about a month and absolutely love it. The handle stays up and is not a problem, it does get a bit hot, but I make sure not to touch outside the handle. The smaller size is also making me use it more frequently, which was another reason why I waited to post the review. I wanted to make sure that it will not discolor or burn as some reviews stated. None of that happened so far after a month of daily frequent use. Lovely tea pot!
