Hat is as described. I use it for bike and walking. It is small though. I am female, 5'3'', petite. It is still tight. So if you are big, it may not fit.

Do the job

I've been looking for something I can use for fly-fishing on those really hot, brutally sunny summer days to help me avoid sunburn. I use sunblock, but sometimes I forget to reapply when the fishing's good, and I'm bald as a cueball, so sun can be uncomfortable even with a palmful of sun grease slathered all over my pate. Others I've tried have been too tight, or too thick, or otherwise just uncomfortable or non-work able. Then this showed up.It's loose and flowy around the neck, and it's super breathable so the breezes can get through. Not too snug around the head and ears, but will stay in place either alone or under my hat. It can also be configured in several ways, so that's a plus. It doesn't smell bad, and it's made of a really comfortable material with lots of little airholes. Breezes get through but the sun won't.Looks like I just found gifts for all my fishing buddies for this year's big trip! Highly recommended, especially for the purpose I've described.

I bought two things to take the place of the horrible N95 masks that have two very tight straps, or the simplistic ear loops that cause severe discomfort. One was a Fishing hat, which worked great, but was as appealing as showing up in a darth vader costume at the grocery store (for people who believed Darth was real anyway). This on the other hand had several types of wearing methods. My favorite is as the sort of expandable bandanna. Super light weight, super comfortable, the only thing I didn't think of is that White will actually retain stains, so keeping it clean is key. The only problem, I went to order 3 more and it was unavailable. If you see this available again, get it..worth every penny.
