Great gift, one con.
Works great. Very easy to set up. Great for my parents who aren’t tech savvy so we can share photos remotely.One con - photos seem to run through the slideshow in the order they are received. There is no random shuffling of the photos from what I can tell. So how they are received is how they are displayed. Hopefully it’s user error on my part. As an example, if someone uploads 30 photos of little Johnnys birthday part then that’s all they see until the next batch of received photos. I’d prefer they were more random to keep it interesting.Still, exactly what I wanted and happy with the purchase.

No instruction manual included, nothing to help you use it, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I ordered this item as a Christmas gift for my parents and my in-laws, who are all over 70 years old. I work on a computer at my fulltime job and can pretty much figure out how to do everything, but THIS? No. It offers weather updates, but apparently only in Bangor, Maine. You cannot change the location. You can upload photos, but cannot manually scan through them. How can you give this as a gift if YOU can't figure out how to use it? I'm sure there is something better out there, I'll keep looking. WASTE of money.

Buy it!
I was super skeptical about purchasing this based on the lack of reviews and poor product description and pictures. But I’m very glad I purchased this! It’s very nice quality and it comes with a white insert that you can put around the screen if you would rather have that over the black insert. Screen is touch screen, and everything is very easy to set up. It has step by step instructions when you first start it up, or it comes with an instruction book as well. It can be set up in less than 5 minutes. If you aren’t tech savvy, have your children or grandchildren help you. I can’t wait to give this to my in laws for Christmas, who are recently first time grandparents! After Christmas we are going to purchase one for ourselves!

Buyer beware
Between my mother and I, we have purchased 11 frames for gifts within the past 6 months. 2 of the frames have stopped working correctly. The 1st, I received timely assistance and was sent a new frame. I would say I had appropriate assistance from the company. The only complaint is that I needed to pay $20+ to return the ill functioning frame. In my opinion, the company should have paid for the return of their bad product. The second frame however, I have submitted via email and tech support request twice without response. It has been 3 weeks. The company does not offer a customer service phone number, so I have no choice but to continue to waste my time trying to replace a frame that I gifted to my Grandmother. I feel terrible, because she does not get to see me or my children due to COVID, so this frame was a wonderful surprise and she did love it, while it worked. I too love my frame and the ease of the app to add to all of my family members, whom I purchased the frame for. It’s really a wonderful gift, especially in these times! I only give one star because 2 out of 11 frames purchased did not fully work...that’s too many in my opinion. I’m very unhappy with their customer service. I also can not get pictures to email to any frames. The app and website do work well though. I love that I can add multiple pictures, to multiple frames at the same time. If I did this all over, I’d buy a different frame with the app option that allows to add to multiple frames. It’s a wonderful thing, like I said, but this brand is poor. To anyone reading this- Please choose a different frame, but buy a frame, because they’re great! PS I’ve read many comments on Facebook advertisements for this frame, that note the same customer service issues.

WARNING - APPROACH WITH CAUTION!
WARNING - APPROACH WITH CAUTIONI would STRONGLY suggest to anyone considering purchasing THIS or any other "Photoshare Frame" digital photo frame made by Simply Smart Home OR through the Amazon retailer, S&W Dealz, to RECONSIDER their purchase. I bought this frame without doing my research and I will say right away that this THIS particular frame and as far as I can tell, other digital Photshare frames from Simply Smart Home, are OUTDATED and OVERPRICED compared to similar frames by different manufacturers/sellers available on the market today.Unfortunately, I've put in way too much time with this already to explain everything. Bottom line, however, it was a transaction nightmare with ALL Parties - Simply Smart Home, Amazon and S&W Dealz. Unfortunately, I WASTED coutless HOURS and nearly two-weeks trying to get this thing to work before Simply Smart realized, after I provided considerable documentation and information to them, that MY FRAME was both USED and DEFECTIVE! Further, once Simply Smart realzied this, ny customer service support which had been luke-warm up to that point, turned cold. It was "suggested" by Simply Smart that in the future I should buy from a "LICENSED" retailer of their products (like their own store) on Amazon (WHAT????) because if I buy from "non-licensed" retailer, like S&W Dealz, the merchadise could be used (it was), defective (also true) and, like in this case, it would come with NO manufacturers warranty! So, BTW, thank you for all of your time, effort and infomation, here is a 15% off coupon code to buy DIRECTLY from us, as you should have done to begin with was the message I was hearing LOUD and CLEAR. Amazon wasn't much better - again, I spent more hours on this "issue" than I can count, helped both Amazon and Simply Smart fix a retailer issue and FINALLY got a "token" $5.00 credit from Amazon only after begging!!! Simply Smart "offered" me a 15% credit if I would go to their website and purchase the same product that, after I calculated, would have cost me an additional $36.00+ MORE for the SAME product/shipping than the one I was sending back to Amazon!! When I told Simply Smart this and made a counter offer (for what they said was my time and the information that I provided that helped THEM), I received a terse note back telling me that they "Respectfully decline!" I did return the frame - thank you Amazon, and I learned through all of this that even new, this "Simply Smart PhotoShare Frame is a 2019 model with dated technology. I was able buy the same size frame, a CURRENT, 2022 model, with twice the resolution, FOUR times the memory and with twice as many features for HALF the price of this one from Simply Smart. Moral of this story - Amazon does NOT vet it's retailers as thoroughly as they would have you believe, Simply Smart's digital frames are, even if you do get a "new" one, outdated and overpriced, Simply Smart's customer service is sorely LACKING, and S&W Dealz is selling USED merchandise as new. There's a whole lot MORE to this but I've spent too much time on it already. Good Luck!
