i've had these for a few months now, but last night i felt a big piece of what felt like plastic in my mouth. soon discovered that there were several chips on the straw, as well as the other straws! who knows how long we've been ingesting this toxic plasticky paint material. ugh.

so to clarify the other reviews, the white designs on the straws are just white paint splatter, and it does chip off, but the actual color on the straws do not chip. i just got these today and just took them out of the bag and it fell off into my hands which is disappointing cause i bought them for the cute design.. to the company: you guys really need to fix this because if people are swallowing the paint from these they can get seriously sick and you can get seriously sued. so disappointing.
