2nd time I bought this item. Unfortunately the 2nd one I purchased leaves feathers everywhere after washing and drying multiple times. Going to have to throw it away as it’s making a mess. Tried to contact the company to see if it’s defective but unable to reach.

This is a great down blanket. It’s really lightweight, but surprisingly warm. Perfect for this late summer/early fall wether when the temperature changes every day.It’s very generously sized. I fact, I tuck it in a little at the corners so it doesnt drag on the floor at the corners.It does have a little crinkly sound, but I don’t even notice that anymore. It’s definitely not enough to disturb my (or my partner’s) sleep. I researched and found that’s from the process that’s used to ensure that down doesn’t escape through the fabric, so that’s a benefit, not a flaw.It washes and dries beautifully.The cream color is pretty, even though it is slightly deeper and yellower than I was expecting.Overall, I’m very pleased and may give up my heavier down comforter.

I purchased this blanket awhile ago, so I wanted to test it out before I left a review. One of the reasons I chose this product was because I wanted an oversized blanket. I hate it when you barely have enough blanket to cover your body and when your partner rolls over and takes a chunk of it with him you are left freezing. This blanket tucks in and stays tucked, and there of plenty of blanket on the sides! It is lightweight, was impeccably clean and smelled good right out of the package. It is warm. We sleep with the thermostat way down, but this with a quilt on top keeps us toasty. Additionally, I loved the e-mail the company sent with tips and a little humor. I do fluff the blanket in the drawer on low every month, and I have not had a problem with it losing its loft or the down shifting or finding feathers poking out of the covering. I highly recommend this product and it worth the extra money for what you get..

This blanket is definitely oversized, which is nice. It can be tucked in at the foot of the bed and it overlaps at each side so you don’t get exposed to the cold on one side. However, I would have liked it to be a bit more fluffy and soft. The material is crisp and crinkles with movement. The individual squares are quite lightly filled and lay flat, not puffy. I tried putting it in the dryer to fluff, but that only made it wrinkle. I did keep it, but if I had been able to inspect it in a store, I probably would have moved on to find one that was softer and a bit more fluffy and yet have the oversized dimensions. I did keep it mostly for the size. The construction of the blanket is high quality and the company had shone interest in my satisfaction.

This down blanket is a delight! Love the satin border detail! I ordered the extra large king...and it is HUGE! We have a Cal King bed. So, plenty of room to hang over sides or tuck in if wanted. I have this blanket folded at the foot of our bed over our summer quilt for when the A/C & fan seems a bit chilly. The cotton covering the down is smooth and doesn't seem to wrinkle overly much. The cotton seems more like an organic cotton" (yet, I'm sure it's not) rather than a sateen cotton. The softness is what you would expect for the price. It does not make a "crinkle" sound to me. It makes more of a "swooshing" sound when you pull the comforter up. If you want a down blanket that is super soft and makes no sound, you would have to pay at least twice as much.

This down blanket is perfect for warmer climates or for anyone who sleeps hot. I have used it all summer it by itself, without a top sheet, and it's perfect that way. As the colder weather begins, I may need to add another blanket for extra warmth. I like that it is doesn't feel weighty and gives me freedom of movement. It is attractive enough to use as a spread with some throw pillows. For those living in colder climates, it will probably not be warm enough for winter nights.

We purchased this down blanket primarily because of its size. Having read quite a few reviews I'd like to say:1. The blanket is crunchy and noisy but certainly not loud and made very little sound when tossing and turning in bed.2. The blanket is NOT heavy. Perhaps that is the perception by a few since the item is very much larger than the standard down blanket and it does contain about 25% feathers (stated on the label: at least 75% down.)We have not laundered the blanket and don't intend to do so until needed, usually once a year. No duvet cover is used.Unlike the Pacific Coast down blanket we ordered and returned, this item is white, not showing what looked like mold (but was probably feathers) in the PC blanket.

Got this for my queen bed. We live in TN and have been looking for something that is warm but not too warm. I do not sweat at night using this cover, but yet I am not cold either. Both myself and my husband love it. Yes, it does have a slight crinkle sound, but nothing noticeable and I'm very picky about noises. It comes down a good length on the sides (down to my wooden bed railings that hold the boxspring). Typically don't write reviews, but this is an expensive item and the other reviews helped me to purchase it. Just helping someone out that may be on the fence. Oh- and I did place it in the dryer to 'fluff' upon arrival. Perfect.
