HENLE Nocturnes - piano - (HN 185)

Fabulous edition of Chopin’s Nocturnes
Accurate and clear as per usual from Henle and contains all of Chopin’s nocturnes, including those published posthumously. Worth paying more for this than cheaper editions as its ‘Urtext’, meaning what is printed is what the composer originally intended and isn’t heavily edited, unlike some sheet music sold by other publishers.Would definitely recommend!

Excellent binding
I wish every book of sheet music had this binding. It presses flat very easily and stays there, while still laying flat when closed as well. Couldn’t ask for more.(The music is great as well, of course, but you already know that.)

Clear and complete.
Wonderful. Really enjoying working my way through these. Clear, well spaced music. For those who are worried, it DOES contain the famous no.20 C# minor nocturne.

beautifully presented
For a pianist, at least for this pianist, readability is vital and who likes a Chopin Nocturne that is squished up and hard to discern. This edition is nicely spaced and includes his posthumous Nocturnes. It came within a reasonable time-frame; what a joy to have such beautiful music to hand.

Perfect!
Henle Urtext is great as usual... Accurate notes and very nice printing... And although it appears to the other customers that the posthumous nocturnes are not included.. from what I am acknowledged so far no.20,21 i.e. the posthumous ones are included in my copy..
