Amazing quality
This is an excellent quality item for the price. Heavy cotton, excellent sewing, tight closures. I was impressed when I opened the package. I was disappointed to see the bottom of the robe isn't lined in white as shown in the picture. Still, I'm pleased with the product. This is far beyond costume grade.

Great for Tai Chi
I am 6 ft tall and 165 lbs. and relatively lean. I Ended up buying the XL and it fits perfectly ending just under the middle of the shin. It is fitted to my frame while allowing a full range of motion for my shoulders and torso. If you are taller or heavier than me you may want to consider ordering a larger size. The open sides allow my legs to move easily without getting in the way. I would recommend this to people interested in traditional Chinese martial arts.

No pants came with my order and it was much too small
The listing says 2 piece with pants.I did not receive pants and even though I consulted the sizing chart, the robe was much too small.

It was beat-up, dirty, and had some very unacceptable details.
The details I mentioned are very relevant, and concerns me because it shows that the person who tailored it was rushing his/her work. Which may explain why countless threads of lint basically coat the clothing from the inside and outside, My original thought was that the tailor was inept but as I tried to rationalize the reasons for the dirty cotton and poor condition of the Cheongsam. I couldn't the Cheongsam so badly covered with lint of threads sticking out of the bottom and the collarbone section is no different. Well it actually is just as floppy looking as the rest of the Cheongsam.I could keep writing about the issues that need to be addressed with the uniform, but it would have me here a while, overall it is decent.

It's very comfortable and fits very well. I've wanted one of these for years and I am glad to have bought one finally. I will definitely get another color soon.

Tight fit for the western man. To long for girth fit.
