Goodthreads Men's Slim-Fit Short-Sleeve Cotton V-Neck T-Shirt (Available in Tall)

I purchased these shirts based on Amazon reviews, and I was not disappointed. They fit snugly but not too tightly, and they are long enough that they do not come untucked, even though I have a long torso. The fabric itself is excellent. It is soft, smooth, and stretchy, in just the right proportions. The V-neck is not too low, but it is just low enough, and the fit is good enough not to move , then I can wear it under an open collared shirt without it showing. This is a perfect undershirt.

I bought this shirt since I didnt have any V-necks in the closet at the moment. Wore this on an outing after hitting the gym earlier that day, and WOW. It hugs your shoulders, the V obviously accentuates the chest and the cuffs of the sleeves have the slightest 'hug' on your biceps without it being tight or looking too small. Great shirt, great fit. The material is also really soft but not cheap like most knockaround tees. Bought the black but will definitely buy again in another color soon.

I'm a minimalist, and have been in search of "The perfect V-Neck T-shirt" to replace my wardrobe with simple t-shirts. Goodthreads came in my view and I purchased two t-shirts to try them out. (spoiler alert... should've bought only one). I've examined a few things which are... 1. Attractiveness 2. Fit 3. Durability 4. Color change over time and wash 5. General thoughts I've taken this shirt for my trip and washed it 6 times in the period of 4 weeks. Now that does not seem like a long time but it did reveal some things. 1. Attractiveness 3/5: while this is a "nice shirt", it isn't a nice looking one per se. Other than Goodthreads, I have tried, Uniqlo, Polo, Banana republic, H&M. Goodthreads isn't the type of shirt I would wear to a party with a blazer. In my opinion, Banana Republic has been most attractive appearing simple t-shirt, specifically the luxury touch T-neck (which is on sale for $24 currently so there is a price different. 2. Fit: 4/5 fit is nice. I'm 5'9 at 175 lbs. Im a bit muscular build with a small belly (to most people, I would appear ideal weight-ish as I'm able to hide my belly nicely) This shirt is rather a tight/slim fit. Although the length is perfect, around the shoulder seems to be a bit tight. 3. Durability: in my 2 month period of owning this shirt, this is durable. But only 2 months. So far no holes or cracks are found 4. Color change over time and wash 3/5 - I value this probably the most of all category. I would like to keep one type of shirt for a long time so color change is not ideal. So far, some of the brands that have failed are... actually H&M and Hanes both of which failed miserably and faded drastically. Amazon's "The Perfect V-Neck T-Shirt" did not fail miserably but is slowly showing signs after about 6x washes. Its material appears slightly softer and thinner (which actually feels nice) but the general color of the t-shirt seems to be fading. The black t-shirt isn't quite all black anymore. 5. General thoughts: in my opinion, "The Perfect V-Neck T-Shirt" is a nice, simple, every day shirt. To me, it does not quiet meet the standards to replace my entire wardrobe, but it would not hurt to own a shirt or two for casual events. The price is definitely affordable. But if you intend to keep the t-shirt for a while, I would recommend uniqlo and banana republic. (I have not been able to try everlane yet but that's on my list and I'm hoping that can replace all of my old t-shirts!)

Shirt arrived on time. I used try it before buying and was happy I could keep it since it fit so well. The shirt is soft but not too thin. The slim fit made it fit without looking super sized. It could have been an inch longer due to my long torso but it still wasn’t too short. I’m happy with my purchase.

I got two of these inexpensive tees, in purple and in gray. I give them a mixed review. On the positive side, these slim-fit shirts fit me -- in width -- very well. (I'm on the small size of men's Large, so the sizing seems consistent.) The fabric is nice, and the tailoring with side seams give better fit than a tubular knit. The colors are close to what I expected, though the purple is a little darker than it looked on my computer. On the negative side, some dimensions seem off. Compared to other tees, this is 1.5 to 2.0 inches shorter, which means the shirt can't be worn tucked in (it comes out), and when I'm bending over or sitting, I'm apt to show some skin. If you have a short torso, it might be OK, but I would prefer more length. Likewise, the vee is about 1" too shallow, somewhere between a standard vee and a crew neck. Other reviews say differently, so perhaps the manufacturer has changed or there is lot-to-lot variability. With a couple of tweaks, this could be an excellent tee shirt and a great value.

Bought three of these tees as replacements to my old Banana Republic pima cotten tees. These fit well, and are softer than many tees I've had. Note that they do shrink a bit - even in cold water and hung dry. Worth the $13 each. I've enjoyed these as sleep tees and hope they last a while.

I bought these to protect my clothes when I'm playing with paints. The paints I play with are rather thick, so I don't need to worry so much about bleed through as just getting it on my clothing. These work well. In the largest size, I can slip the shirt on over whatever I'm wearing, and play to my heart's content. The shirts end up looking quite artsy, as I wipe my fingers and hands on them while I'm working. I wear one of the shirts just as a topper over my shirt when I pop out to do a little shopping, sometimes, and I've gotten quite a few compliments on the look! I definitely like looking somewhat artsy! LOL

The color of the shirts is as advertised, and the construction seems sound. They’re thicker than a Hanes undershirt, but not as thick as a Beefy-T. They make good underlayers or stand-alone summer shirts. I’m in that weird size category called “small-medium”, so I usually order medium tees in case of shrinkage. They did shrink a little and now fit what I consider perfectly. A little loose in the chest and waist, but not so loose as to look baggy or unkempt. They’ve faded slightly over multiple washings, but not terribly. For the price they’re not bad at all.
