Functions as should.
It’s not really hard to install this because I did it by myself 9 months pregnant but if you’re not handy, I wouldn’t recommend installing this yourself. Not made to be cut to fit ceiling height. The kit comes with screw inserts that fit the tubes that attach to your wall if you need to adjust where the rectangle needs to be but not any inserts for the size tubing that attaches to your ceiling. I have short ceilings, so I did cut to fit my ceiling but also had to problem solve to make it happen. Decently sturdy. Very light, and functions for what it’s meant for. Recommend a second set of hands.

Works well
Worked well to turn our tub into a shower. Not real steady, but it does it’s job. You don’t want to fall and hang onto the shower curtain because the rod would probably come down with it. We have been using it for over a month daily and it has held up well. Temporary fix until our other shower can be tiled. I would definitely purchase again.

easy assemle a few challanges with install
the main pole is vert long so if you need to put it close to the ceiling you will need to modify it. I had to cut the pipes and drill a new hole for the pole set. Little extra work but not bad for the price.

Clawfoot free standing shower hoop
This is a very sturdy free standing shower curtain hoop. It comes in 8 pieces if memory serves. The two standoffs have to be cut to size for your tub and riser. The ceiling brace has a sliding piece that allows you to adjust for the height once leveled. You will need at least two people to make this perfect for your free standing clawfoot tub.

Flimsy, difficult to install
I'm an accomplished DIYer/Homeowner with basic plumbing, painting, electrical and carpentry skills and I'll tackle most projects on my own rather than bring in professionals who might have more knowledge and skill, but don't really give a sh*t. This shower curtain ring has a few things going for it that made me give it a try: More support than other brands and I like that it is made from aluminum (my previous chromed steel ring got pretty corroded and rusty quickly). The instructions tell you to install the front facing double bracket adn then get someone to "hold" this part in place while you install the rest of the unit. It took a good 2 hours to do that second part, so getting a helper to really was not an option. I happen to have a lot of motion picture equipment because of my job, and was able to rig a lighting stand to hold the hoop in place while I finished the installation. I don't know how it could have been done otherwise. The finished project looks pretty good, but after about a month of regular use one side has loosened to the point where it sags. I can probably take it apart and tighten things up, but I would have rather paid more money for a unit that didn't need tweaking and adjustment.

Completely customizable!
Looking for an adjustable rectangular curtain rod for your shower? Look no further! This is the one to get. Who on earth has a tub and/or shower that's the right distance from the wall, or has the right height ceiling to work with all of the non-adjustable rectangular shower curtain rods out there? Does anyone else think it's crazy that most of them aren't adjustable? While this one does require some work with cutting the metal tubes, it can be customized in every dimension except the width and I was able to get a perfect custom installation in my 100 yr/old home for an antique clawfoot tub. The manufacturer intends for some of the tubes to be cut for custom sizing: - the adjustable tube for ceiling height - the tubes mounting to the wall for distance from the wall However, the rectangle itself is not really intended to be adjusted, but you can technically cut the tubes to make it a shorter length. It is NOT possible to cut the tubes to adjust the width; only the length. I love how the bigger frame makes my shower feel so much more spacious now!

Barely does the job
I am not completely upset about this product only because I ordered it as a cheap and temporary fix to my tub that I wanted to convert into a shower while I redo my other bathroom. That being said, I would not recommend that anyone buy this product because it is very flimsy and can hardly support the weight of a shower curtain. It is made of very thin metal that could easily bend or break. The bars come in pieces that need to be screwed together but the anchor points inside the bars where the bolts go into are just held in place by friction so you can't tighten anything down and make the system rigid without risking pulling the pieces out. What I'm describing is hard to envision without seeing it but take my advice and spend you more money on a nicer model. If you have kids or just don't baby this product it will break on you.

Spacious design, sturdy, and great quality!
Perfect for our clawfoot tub. Bigger than our previous one which was such a great surprise (more body:arm room while standing). Excellent quality and easy to assemble. Not flimsy at all which was a concern when looking for one to buy.
