I have unilateral hearing loss. I am deaf in my right ear. I purchased these bone conducive headphones with the hope of achieving some normalcy when listening to music. When my Aftershokz AS650FG-BR Trekz Air arrived I didn't know what to expect. Well, these headphones are absolutely amazing! Even though I will never be able to hear out of or use my right ear again the Aftershokz headphones have allowed me to listen to music without plugging up or blocking both ears, especially my good ear thus giving the perceptual illusion of hearing in stereo.I discovered another benefit. I've never been able to use a bluetooth headset for my phone calls because when I did my good ear was blocked off by the device leaving me totally deaf and unaware of my surroundings. I was only able to listen to the phone call I was taking and nothing else. With the Aftershokz my good ear isn't blocked off anymore and I'm able to hear the outside world (Secondary Conversations, Traffic Etc.) while taking my phone calls. The bluetooth functionality has helped me deal with my hearing loss more effectively.I must emphasize the Aftershokz headphones are not a cure nor will they correct permanent hearing loss. However, the Aftershokz AS650FG-BR headphones (In my particular case) have allowed me to deal with my disability more effectively.All in all the headphones and bluetooth clarity is outstanding and function flawlessly. Battery life is excellent and the headphones are very comfortable to wear. I highly recommend the Aftershokz AS650FG-BR and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

These are the best running headphones I've owned. They are lightweight and don't shift while running, which I love. The sound quality is perfect for music or audiobooks (which is what I use it for while running), and yes, it is not an immersive sound experience, but that is the point, being able to hear your surroundings.PRO:-They are definitely sweatproof. I have put hundreds of miles on them and they still look like new.-Fast charging and the battery lasts for a long time.CONS:-They don't work when running close to loud engines (lawnmowers, or construction equipment) as your ears are wide open to the sounds around you, but they are perfect for everything else.-They don't TURN OFF automatically. You have to remember to turn them off after every run, or else you'll have no battery left next time.

I want to start this by saying i almost never leave reviews on Amazon, but I really like these headphones! They're not perfect but for what they provide I think they're really good. The 1 star for noise canceling is because on their own, bone-conduction headphones physically CAN'T block noise as they leave your ear canals open. The ear plugs provided are standard foam ear plugs, nothing special there.I really like the bone conduction design for two big reasons:I have stretched ear lobes and lots of ear piercings so wearing standard over-ear headphones is uncomfortableI have small ear canals so wearing earbuds is really hard for me long-term.I've only been wearing these headphones for a few hours so I can't speak to how they will hold up long term, but I can say while they DO put a little pressure on the top/backs of my ears, it's no more pressure than I would feel from a heavy-ish pair of glasses.The sound quality is better than I was expecting too, somebody described it as "if a radio or speaker was playing music but it's in your head" and I have to agree with that!I would recommend these. :)

I bought these about a week ago and have been absolutely loving them. I love listening to music when I'm out and about but it really bothers me not to be able to hear my surroundings when walking outside, grocery shopping, or jogging on busy streets. I can listen to music while working and still have discussions with my coworkers and checkout at the store without removing my headphones. Pairing is easy and the buttons are easy to use. If you're looking for noise cancellation this is NOT the product for you, but if you want to be able to hear music as well as your surroundings these are a great high quality choice.The only thing I dislike.. when they run low on battery they go "Charge me!" with no warning. I don't know why I find it so unsettling that the makers gave these headphones a sense of self.
