The Life as We Knew It Collection

I did not like the fact that it took weeks to arrive and then there was no notification by post office. The condition was excellent and plastic wrapped. The book is more for young adults but a must read especially as we threaten lockdowns. I cancelled but am happy it finally arrived.

Great story, great writing. First three books were a joy to read and well paced. I wouldn't call it dystopia (at least not the first three books), but if you enjoy "the road to dystopia" then you'll love the first three books. Fourth book is all dystopia and I enjoyed it a bit less, but it was still ok. Excellent young adult literature.

This series is crazy! I love post apocalyptic books and this one was no exemption. It had a unique version of the apocalypse. Instead of zombies or aliens, the moon moved closer to the earth and wreaked havok upon the weather and sea. This series really evoked the panic, the desperation, the misery, the loss, and the fight to keep going. The emotions were so powerful and beautifully written. The characters were relatable and their situations kept you hooked. I would highly recommend this series.

Bought this book series for my sons bday. He just finished it up and really liked it. The series is thrilling and seems like something that could really happen which has a way of grabbing your attention and making it seem more realistic.

I am NOT a reader, but my friend suggested I check or this series. Uh, I couldn't put it down! You get to really know the characters and are rooting for their survival! While there are four books in the series, of course some are better than others...I loved the first and third books the most, probably because they're written in first person. The second book was decent. The fourth book was a little too "out there" for me. The author took it a little too far and covered some topics I don't think were necessary. Overall, though, amaaaazing reads!
