Works well
I was able to pack more clothes as I always overpack when traveling. Suctions well with very little effort. I'm glad I found them.

Easy to use
Very easy to use and they save a ton of space in your suitcase. One of the larger bags split after about a month of daily use, but still, overall they perform as expected.

So far very good.
The order came early. Thank Amazon:-) The bags deserve 5+ stars so far. I will give an update in a few weeks. We tent camp often. Sleeping bags and linens take up a lot of space. I am tired of rolling sleeping bags into stuff sack, which really doesn't consolidate all that much. These bags did the trick. We use our sleeping bags like a comforter on top of an air mattress. So the bed is made up like a bed at home. With out much effort we fit a Colemanl XL Biscayne sleeping bag, a set of sheets, a full bed pillow and a twin blanket. Tip: do not roll everything inside the sleeping bag, Instead, layer all the items. That seemed to work much better. We used a 13.4 CMF Intex electric pump to suck the air out. (The new models are a bit more powerful) The nozzle on the Intex pump is not a tight fit to the vent on the bag but it worked perfectly. It took about 4 minutes to full suction of the air. It appears to have reduced the bulk height by at least 2/3 if not 3/4. We take that pump camping to fill air beds and toys so it is a win win. The bags get 5 stars when I can verify that they hold the seal. So far, great product. Thinking of getting more to reduce clutter at home.

The SpaceMax bags cost less per bag and had better reviews. It was really hard to know exactly ...
I am a first time user of any type of Space Saving Bags. I first went to Bed Bath and Beyond to purchase some bags and was really thrown off by the price including using a 20% off coupon, they were carrying the Ziplock brand. I decided to try Amazon (best part is you can pick based off of price and reviews). The SpaceMax bags cost less per bag and had better reviews. It was really hard to know exactly what size to pick based on information provided so I included some pictures to help you decide if you have similar items. I went with the 40 x 30 because I would rather have too big than too small. In this size bag I was able to fit a queen pillow top with no issues and it did take up the whole bag. I also had a Queen Comforter and you can see in the photos there was plenty of room to add other items, I was able to include a Queen/King blanket in with it. The bags do shrink your items to a more manageable size and it allowed me to fit my items easily under the bed. I can’t be sure that it shrank a full 80% but it got the job done. Do keep in mind the bigger the bag you select, although it shrinks pretty flat, take into consideration how wide and long the bag will be in case you have a certain space in mind you are needing to store. My pillow top shrank to about 20.25 in. W x 23.25 in L x 4.75 in H. I use these stored items only when I need to blow up our air mattress for guest and these bags allowed me to store these items under a bed instead of taking up a whole shelf in my spare closet. Bags worked, are easy to use and can be unzipped and sealed again. Would recommend.

Okay.
I got a set of six bags. One reinflated almost immediately after I finished with it and a second reinflated within a week. So far, the other four are holding up. Those that work do a great job. They will supposedly replace any defective bags, but when I went to the website, I didn't see any way to ask for a replacement.

Must Buy, WAY better quality that Ziploc
These are BEST Space Saver/Vacuum Storage bags I've purchase so far. I own a small business and I make plush toys and vend them at various trade show/Fan conventions. My Plushies take up a lot of space so I need these particular bags to easily transport my plushies to conventions.I originally purchase Ziploc space bags, although they were great the first time I used them, I was not able to use them again because they would easily tear, or leak out air. I then purchase a non brand name to transport my plushies. they had a longer life than the Ziploc bag where I was able to use them for 4 event until they eventually would leak out air. So I decided to give these bags a try and WOW I was amazed by the quality of them. I used these bags to transport my plushies from California to New York for New York Comic Con this year. I was amazed how much I can fit in the bags and I've noticed that they sucked out more air than the other two bags I used. I was also amazed of how much I can fit in the bag as well as how flat they would be making it easier for me to fit 3 of these bags into one large suitcase. The included pump was useless, I have a better outcome using a a vacuume. When I'm out on the road, I don't have access to a vacuum and I noticed that squeezing out the air by laying on top it so to work very well. So far I'm pleased with these bags. I Feel that they would last me way longer than the other brands I used.

Finally, vacuum bags that stay flat. Very effective, even with the hand pump.
I had little luck with vacuum storage bags in the past, so was skeptical at first with trying these. In the past, I tried both types readily available, one which requires a vacuum cleaner and another type that one rolls up like a camping sleeping mat. The majority puffed back up after a few days no matter how we tried packing and sealing them. With the highly positive reviews, I decided to purchase two sets of these (one set for my parents) and tested all 12 with duvets, pillows, etc. Overnight, two puffed back up, so I repacked these and vacuumed them again. One puffed back up again, while the other stayed flat. I left them for a week and the 11 remained as flat as the day I vacuum-sealed them. The remaining one kept puffing back up, so is likely a dud. Then again, I never had a vacuum bag set where more than half stayed deflated more than a day or two, so to have just 1 dud out of 12 is great. With the test complete, I packed my winter clothes and duvet across 3 vacuum storage bags in April and put them under my bed. When I retrieved them to unpack for the winter (29th August), the three were as flat as I recall back in March. I also underestimated how much I packed as it didn't seem like I packed much in each until I let the air back in!Although a vacuum cleaner can quickly deflate each bag, the pump itself works very well on its own. It only takes 2-3 minutes to fully vacuum each bag and requires very little force, much like a balloon pump. The pump screws directly on to the bag, so there's no worry about air leaking while pumping. With vacuum storage bags that finally work for me, the advantage is like as if clothes, duvets, etc. were inflatables, but in reverse. For example, my winter duvet that filled up a large garbage bag vacuum-sealed down to about 5cm (2") think. A stack of jumpers vacuum-seals down to about 1/4 the original height. There's only a few minor drawbacks I found that apply to all storage vacuum bags: One vacuum-sealed, the pack is stiff like a plank. While this is fine for storing under a bed, they are too large to store in my closet. Lightweight clothes such as shirts and t-shirts come out wrinkled, so may require ironing. However, bulkier clothes such as jumpers will dewrinkle after a short period of time.In case anyone is unaware, vacuuming-sealing does not reduce the weight. For example, a stack of 15 jumpers vacuum-sealed will feel like a heavy plank, so take care not to pack too much weight in each bag.

Great product and great company follow up
The bags are strong and large enough for large size duvets. I bought a pack of the jumbo to store bedding and used three of them. I came to use a fourth a bit later and found that one of the orginal three had reinflated. After checking the seal and valve, I could still hear a very faint hissing sound. The company promise to replace any faulty items so I contacted them using the email on the packaging. I had a reply within a few minutes asking me to make sure the seals were ok and to come back to them if not. I rechecked everything and emailed back. Again a fast reply saying they'd replace the faulty bag and it would arrive today. The replacement has arrived and is not just the one bag I expected but a whole new pack of six bags. I can't fault the customer servce and would recommend the product.
