Great
Perfect combination with my Fuji

Works with X100VI
The media could not be loaded. Adapter for 49mm lens filter works well, just make sure to take off cameras original ring/seal.

Metal, quality, easy to affix
I used this for my Fujifilm x100v. Followed the video on Amazon to install (minus the white gloves). No issues getting the correct alignment. Cap fits nicely over hood. Cannot attest to durability since I just got it. Now my overpriced x100v is one more step to full hipster awesomeness - sarcasm aside, it works great for the camera, and I really am enjoying the x100v (and I don't even have TikTok).

Decent hood
I want to start by saying I was apprehensive when I saw reviews talking about issues getting the hood straight. I too had the same issue but found that only happens when overtightening it. It will still stay really snug if you stop at the last turn and leave it aligned but has the capacity to go a bit further a few degrees. Overall feels decent and looks great, the felt inside the cap feels soft but leaves a lot of dust, I wish they made it out of some thin rubber on the inner ring to keep it on that way. 45$ is very steep and crossing borders into original SquareHood prices. I’ll be back to update on ability to stay on and straight and cap lining durability.

Lens Hood DOES NOT ALIGN Horizontally = Looks Ridiculous on Camera!
I really wanted to like this lens hood since it looks so good in the photos. However, once I received my X100 camera, I put on the lens hood and the screw mount (for the lens hood) keeps going about 90 degrees further than the horizontal alignment with the camera. It looks ridiculous, imagine someone wearing glasses that are tilted to one side = that's what the X100 looked like. I bought two of these and both had the same problem. One was worse than the other. Since the X100 was backordered, by the time I returned this product, I only got a partial refund.

Best hood for the money
I had another expensive hood for my X100V but decided to give this one a try for my X100VI and was happy I did, this is just as nice for a much better price, I highly recommend this item hood.

Well this copy worked
I’ve owned one before and I had to tighten the hell out of to make sure it was on there . This time around it was cutting it . I couldn’t get it to line up at a point that it wasn’t gonna move in my camera bag . Maybe I’ll buy the og square hood at some point or I’ll just stick with what I have . Looks great tho . I’m just particular with my gear and especially my v so it has to be perfect . *****UPDATE : I just bought it again and for some reason this one lined up correctly and right better then the last time. So I will keep it .
