Clear bright display, easy to use.
Excellent product with neat design and clear display. Chromatic mode very easy to use for tuning my Mandolin. Rechargeable battery lasts for weeks of occasional use.

Compact and easy to use clip-on tuner
Small size means it can be left attached to the guitar whilst you play without getting in the way.Easy to use; I preferred the ‘Chromatic’ setting to quickly tune up a 6-string Strat copy. Other settings are available with more specific tuning procedures for ‘Guitar’, ‘Bass’ and ‘Ukelele’.A good product at a very reasonable price on Amazon. Recommended.

Excellent Boss product as expected
Bought to replace a Snark Supertight tuner which are nice to use, but as is typical with them the ball joint bracket broke.I had previously bought, and now returned, a D’Addario Micro Tuner which is a lovely piece of kit, but the display for me is too small and the clip hard to fit on one of my guitars. As is typical with a Boss product the design and quality is excellent. This tuner has a nice bright display and is easy to use. The clip bracket feels sturdy and has soft rubber pads to protect the guitar. I really like that it has a rechargeable battery. The tuner Is quite prominent when clipped on the headstock of the guitar but as I’m not a gigging musician that’s not an issue for me.One thing that Boss could usefully improve is to enable the display to automatically orientate to upright so that you don’t need to move the screen around as much, though this is not a major problem in use.Tuning accuracy is pretty good I think, though not quite as precise as the Boss TU-3 pedal that I compared it against. Not noticeably different to my ears though.Time will tell how this product stands up to use, but being Boss chances are it is going to provide a few years of service.

The Best of the Exact Copies?
Strangely you'll find many tuners with the tuner head exactly like this one - the face graphics may be different but functionally they are the same. The top, exactly the same as this Boss tuner - like they are coming out of the same factory. So what do you get for a few pounds more? Well, the charging cable looks more robust than others and the clip is definitely better. It's better designed to fit a wider selection of clip openings and the whole clip looks tougher and with better cushioning. I prefer the graphics on the screen as well - I'd guess the Boss bars on the dial when tuning are brighter than, say the Lekato's dots - functionally the same - but probably brighter on the Boss.So what's better? The Boss brand for players is unrivaled in quality and durability - and that's my experience personally. More robust-looking clip - I can't say yet as it's new - but it looks long-lasting and well designed with nice 'rubber' cushioning to protect the instrument. The screen is bright but not piercing bright - just right and probably ok up to outside normal light. Easy to use - turn on, tune, turn off (or leave on as it has a rechargeable battery that lasts 10 hours - but it will auto turn off after a bit....but so does the competition). The USB cable seems better than the competition 18" long is long enough. I tried 4 tuners and bought this one.Update: I was correct - in actual use on jobs on stage (sometimes in the dark) this is easy to use, accurate (we diagnosed another tuner being used by the singer was running on 447 Hz), and so clear and bright you can't go wrong. IMO as a pro player and guitar teacher - this is the one to get if you want a clip-on. I've used clip-on tuners since 1998 - the Intellitouch - and used that brand till this one. This is better for live solo and band work. Happy I bought this one.

just the job
nice and small enough not to damage guitar, but works a treat. need quiet though and background noise could affect it.
