Excellent little radio
Bought it because of the water/dust proof rating, mounted in my rzr so that is a must.Purchased the programming software from tyt for $25 since chirp doesn't support this radio. That worked really well.Only time will tell if it last, but I like it so far.Paired it with a tram antenna mounted on the roof and we are good to go.If you are looking at buying this radio and only need 25 watts it is well worth the money.

Rugged little package
Purchased two of these for installation in my vehicles; manually programmed both with identical frequencies, about 40 or so. These are simple to program, also EZ to 'expand' the bandwidth to accommodate greater frequency ranges. The radio itself is small, rugged and very solid feeling. The waterproofing is evident, although I'm not about to test it. The microphone is noticeably more substantial feeling than many radios of similar purpose; overall it's a great choice at a nice price point.

Good radio, but...
The radio and mic work excellent. I pressure wash my side by side with this sitting in the dashboard. Still working after 3 washes. But. The radio is very difficult to use and set up if you don't know anything about ham radios. Got a buddy with the same radio. He was able to talk to me, and it worked excellent. But, to program it on different channels is just about impossible without major knowledge

Sounds like I'm in a can
Bought a new antenna with it too but still sounds horrible. I'm changing antenna to see if that helps.

Good power
This is a good little radio, I had it in my car, but moved it in for a base station, with a home made 1/4 wave 2m antenna I can open repeaters 60 miles awayUpdate, 23, Sept, 2023. This unit has been a great little radio, I use it for a base, and talk on it daily, 25w all day long, the fan it still working like it should, I'm a TYT guy now, the quality is impeccable.

I was unable to find a USB driver
The radio is OK, but I still haven’t found a driver for the USB programming cable and programming. This by hand is a real pain.

Great little radio
This radio is great for its size and easy to program with software (not chirp supported yet). Have not tested the waterproof aspect but I bought it for my Jeep just in case.
