Been using this to trim both standard and wood wick candle wicks. It works great - finger holes are small for my fingers but it's not like I'm doing more than one snip. The design does a good job of catching the part cut off so as to not make a mess of the candle. It's a fairly simple tool but I definitely recommend having one if you like to burn candles!

I like the color of it and it works great. Trims easily and it's like a little dish on the top, so the wick doesn't fall or drop anywhere. I use it to trim before I light a candle for the first time and when I see it's getting a little long. The price was less then half of what Yankee Candle was charging at their store for the same one.

I needed an actual wax trimmer badly. For the longest time, I was using scissors to trim my wicks. I finally caved and ordered this one. It arrived super quickly and was exactly what I expected! The quality is great, it feels very sturdy and trims the wicks perfectly! Trimming the wicks is super easy with this trimmer, especially when the wax starts to get really low. This is a must-have if you have a million candles like I do! This would also make a great gift for any candle lover!

Little heavy and sticky at least for me

Love the matte black. It's long enough to reach the bottom and cuts the wick neatly and catches it.

This is very dull. Will not cut through my wicks.
