got this for my brother. he loved it

I liked the book very much. The character of Black Beauty is amazing. He is cool and gentle. His journeys to different places and his friendship with so many horses and even with humans is inspiring for me.

Checking the photos of other reviews, the hardcover's supposed to be bigger. What I've gotten is so tiny I was shocked at first and a little confused. Now it all makes sense. Never trust anything online apparently. Am I missing something here? Isn't this book supposed to be bigger? It's 10 inches tall for reference.
