I really want to give this book a 5 star review because I love it and have used several of the rituals on an almost daily basis. But the detox bath using malachite is very toxic so I must take some stars off this review. Malachite contains copper and poisons the body. I thought it may be a typo but the page next to this ritual features tumbled malachite. Mariah K. Lyons knows what she is doing as a healer but... Perhaps you meant to leave the malachite next to the bathtub. I look forward to your future publications.

The author tells to put Malachite in your bath, malachite is highly toxic in water. Especially, if it's a raw crystal. Also the pictures are very faded hard to see. I think the book is not ok for beginners to crystals because of some advice. Also please check out if a crystal is poisonous in water before ever placing it in your water. The author needs to rewrite some of this book.

This is the best crystal books I've come across - others I find too woowoo granola or too much like a reference book. This one is just right, and it's really beautiful - chic book design and gorg photos. I've referred to this often since it arrived and it has usable, practical info (How to sleep better, for exp) but then also really beautiful rituals and information about specific crystals or bigger topics (depression, heartbreak). You can tell it was written with a lot of care and heart, but also in a very down to earth usable way. It's going to be my go-to gift for all the ladies in my life this holiday season.
