I love this statuette of the laughing Buddha. Every time I pass him I make sure to rub his belly. I purchased the large version of this statue and it is crafted from a single block of wood. At 12” high it’s a nice size and very finely detailed and is hefty without being too heavy. The natural wood grain color is a beautiful reddish-brown. Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice centerpiece for a home altar as it is reasonably priced.

I looked around on Amazon and settled on this laughing Buddha. It is just the right height for my office desk at just about 8 1/2" tall and the base is about 7" wide. He is solid and sturdy. The wood is beautiful and craftsmanship is just what I wanted--not absolute perfection. I can't get the photo to upload but he looks great sitting on the upper left corner of my desk.
