Terminator: Resistance Enhanced (PS5)

Excellent game to pass the time as a kid of the 80s i grew up with the franchise i love the movies and now as a gamer its fun to board the nostalgia train once again.Music and graphics are great if you enjoy the franchise give it a try.

Firstly I feel I need to point out that this game was made by an INDIE developer. It wasn’t from a AAA developer with millions of pounds to spend on it. Most people fail to realise that this is a small indie company with around 70 employees! So they somehow expect a blockbuster AAA game that is like GTA 5 or The Witcher.Now onto the game: I was excited to play Terminator Resistance (enhanced edition) as I am a Terminator fan and this game played right after the awesome Terminator 2 Judgment Day film.The game plays well, with good visuals and good controls. Now of course the visuals could be a little better, but it’s not as if the game has PS3 visuals. The Terminators look great, the environment looks good and the friendly AI characters look okay. The missions are all good with a couple needing some stealth as you don’t have weapons (yet) that can take out the Terminators, like going into a Terminator factory, and it can get a tad nerve wracking creeping around hoping the Terminators don’t see or hear you!You will get the pulse rifle in no time, and can take on the Terminators head on!! Some say the game is too easy when you get the best version on the pulse rifle and sniper rifle. It is true that it will be move easier than with your shotgun or human rifle, but it’s not over easy. Plus you only can take 3-4 pulse rifle hits from the Terminators to kill you.The sounds are really good, that come straight out from the movie! With the pulse rifle sounds, theme tune playing and even the song from the first film, in the nightclub plays during one mission! That was cool. The explosions, gunfire, music and even the Terminators movement sounds.I’d highly recommend the enhanced edition over the normal edition, as you can only play as the iconic T-800 infiltrator in the enhanced edition. That DLC mission is awesome!! Plus the faster load times, upgraded graphics, better frame rates and the use of the DualSense controller with the haptic feedback vibrations and the adaptive triggers.So I’d recommend this game to fans of the Terminator films and to people who like first person shooters. There are collectibles and chips that can give you increased stats on your guns, like increased damage and rate of fire etc. I’ve got the platinum trophy, so I’ll wait awhile before my second play through, but I’ll play as the T-800 infiltrator again soon!You could wait for the game to drop to £25 and then pick it up.

Fun shoot em up

If you’re a die hard terminator fan, you’ll probably love this game.But if you’re just the average gamer who’s seen (and enjoyed) the movies, you’ll struggle with the clunky, dated, mechanics and gameplay

Already owed this game on PS4, but wanted it on PS5 with the graphics being better on some PS5 versions of the game!Haven’t played it on the PS5 as of yet tho!But it was a decent price that I couldn’t complain!Also, the delivery was pretty fast as well!Thanx to the seller!

Game is good. But looks like it is a good x box 360 game

Decent FPS and some dialogue choices which change the story slightly, the actual Terminators are also tough to kill unlike that arcade game in which you blast them to bits in one hit!

Great game, with plenty of action.

My oldest son specifically asked for this game for his birthday. He loves this game. This is a great shooter game that has a good story line and great graphics. Being summer vacation we have become a little relaxed on his game time and this is the only game he will play knowing he still has a limited time on the PS5. I am happy that he is loving this game due to it being not expensive.

Ich hatte wirklich Bock auf das Thema Terminator. Die Grafik und das Gameplay könnten wirklich besser sein...die Bewertungen von ca. 67% kann ich absolut nachempfinden. Wer aber Lust hat ein Spiel des Termnator Universums zu spielen ist hier wirklich gut aufgehoben. Trotz der technischen etc. Defizite schafft es das Spiel einen in das Thema sehr gut hineinzuversetzen...für Fans absolut zu empfehlen. Die Umsetzung hat etwas von Open World mit Rollenspielelementen...mann sollte aber nicht zu viel erwarten. Für sie 20€ die ich bezahlt habe war es das Spiel aber definitiv wert.

I loved the realness of the game. What I mean by that is that resources are scarce. Scarce ammo means you have to pick encounters. If you go head to head you will run out of ammo. So you have to pick encounters and also you have to think ahead...how many enemies are there. Do I craft a med kit or ammo? All in all it's very well laid out to me. Also the trophies on playstation are great. Lots of gold and silver. So very rewarding. Also side missions are great because it changes the story line.
