Product failure
I am not the person who normally send in bad reviews but because of the time and money lost I felt this warranted a recommendation to customers. Bottom line up front this is not a good compressor to purchase for a BMW 525I. The first AC Compressor arrived and was installed onto my 2006 525I and did not work. So I contacted Amazon and they sent another one in about three weeks. The second compressor was installed and it worked only for approximately 2 weeks before it became inoperable. I am now trying to get my money back because Amazon has charged me for both compressors. This product need to be immediately taken out of the inventory.

No O-rings or seal included. Perfect fit on install.
This AC unit does not come with O-rings or the seal that goes around the shipping plate. In order to find out how much oil you need to add/remove from the system it is required to drain the old and new compressor to compare the amount of oil. Unfortunately, in order to do this you have to replace the seal on the shipping plate on reassembly. If you want to do the job correctly order a set of O-rings as well as the shipping plate seal. Was a perfect fit upon install, and I have ice cold air now.

Arrived early put it in and ... Cold air ! BMW 530i
First .. I purchased an "off-brand" unit that was just $70 bucks cheaper (ebay) ... it was bad the second I put freon in it, then I purchased the original spec compressor Denco and she now makes snow cones again .. 40 deg air on 90 deg day.Moral of the story ..don't waste your personal labor dollars.. $70 was not worth any perceived savings
