I LOVE this Speaker! But Here's What I Wish I'd Known when I First Got It! (Including connecting an Echo, Multi-Room, etc.)
Ok, this is going to be long, because I'm going to tell you some things that you need to know before you get this speaker (whether you get just one, or, as I did, more than one for the multi-room function), so that you will know what they can, and can't do - and how to do some of those things so that you don't experience the frustration that I did (hopefully).I purchased two of these specifically for the multi-room aspect, as I am planning a big dance party, with dancing in two rooms of my house, and so I was very excited to use the synchronized multi-room function.Spoiler alert: I am, in fact, thrilled with the synchronized multi-room function. But WOW did I spend a lot of time learning about both the features and limitations of this setup. In anticipation of this Really Big Dance Party, I created an *awesome* dance mix playlist (if I do say so myself) on Amazon Music (playlist available upon request), which of course you can play on the Amazon Echo. I was very excited to set the speakers up and use them with my Echo, streaming my Awesome Amazon Music Playlist.I quickly ran into the first rule of the GGMM E3 Speaker (there is no GGMM E3 Speaker): you *cannot* connect these to an Amazon Echo *except* via Bluetooth. There are any number of reasons that you may not want to do that (stability, etc.), but for me the most important reason was because of this:The multi-room function works like this: the speakers are actually *on your wifi network* - they connect to the router in much the same way that an Echo does. Then you can - *in theory* - stream anything else that is on your home wifi network through the speakers.Except...you can't stream just any old thing. In order to stream an Internet service over wifi (like, you know, your Alexa service that comes with your Echo), the GGMM E3 Speaker app must offer it *via the app*, so that you can log in to your streaming service (Spotify, iHeartRadio, etc.) *through the app*. As of the time of this writing, Amazon and Pandora are both *not offered* through the app for this speaker*. The streaming services that you can log into with the speaker app are:TuneInDoubaniHeartRadioXimalayaSpotifyQingtingfmQQMusicTidalNapster*Apparently the app for the GGMM M3 series speakers offers Amazon; I tried getting that app to work with these speakers - it doesn't. Those speakers are twice the price as of the time of this writing, so before you hop on over there, read on.Ok, so where was I...oh right, you can't hook up an Amazon Echo to this speaker via wifi but, again, you can via Bluetooth. But here's the thing - if you have two or more of these speakers, and you want to use the multi-room function, you *must* use them on your wifi network. Not via Bluetooth. Not via auxiliary in.Now, you may be thinking "Ha ha! I'll put them on the network, and then connect my Echo via Bluetooth."Nope! These speakers can be *either* in Bluetooth mode, or wifi mode.Your next thought might be "They have an 'aux in' input! I'll line-out an Amazon Dot to the speaker while the speaker is on the wifi network!"Wrong! These speakers can be *either* in 'aux in' mode, or wifi mode.In short, these speakers will only take *one* input at a time (please, no "what's what she said" jokes). Now, let's get back to my saying that in order to use two or more speakers in multi-room mode the speakers *must* be on the wifi network. And as we've learned above, that means that the device from which you are streaming audio must *also be on the wifi network*, and you either have to have a way to 'pull' the audio stream over wifi (such as logging in to your Spotify account through the speaker app), or your audio streaming device must be able to 'push' the sound through the wifi network of its own accord. In order for your device to be able to push the sound to the speakers, it has to be able to *'see'* them on the wifi network.Fortunately, I discovered, after much trial and error and frustration (which, remember, I'm trying to save you) that both my computer *and* my smartphone, both being on my home wifi network, 'saw' the speakers!And...the speakers actually magically appeared in the "Now playing on..." audio device list on my phone. Same with the audio-out dropdown on my computer. That's when my cunning plan did a slight pivot, and came to fruition.Running the Amazon Music app on my phone, I was able to access the playlist I had created in Amazon Music, and stream it over the wifi network to the speakers! And, remember, this is still all on wifi (better signal stability than Bluetooth). This setup ROCKS!!!I have one speaker in each of the rooms in which there will be dancing to my Awesome Amazon Music Playlist at my Really Big Dance Party, and they will be playing the same music simultaneously! What's more, I can independently control the volume for each speaker, separately. (Extra-awesome: I can make the speaker in one room as loud as it needs to be from *another room*, *without standing next to the speaker and bursting an eardrum*!)So, here's the bottom line:1 speaker + Echo (or anything else) via bluetooth = fine1 speaker + auxiliary-in = great (the speaker comes with its own aux-in cord)1 speaker on wifi = great2 speakers with anything via Bluetooth = just one speaker working2 speakers with anything via aux-in = just one speaker working2 speakers via wifi and your device *on the wifi* network = *freaking amazing*!!!Oh, one other note - I ordered these in the blue colour - from the pictures I'd thought that it would be a slightly metallic blue. It's not - I mean it's not metallic. Which is ok, but was a surprise.

Made my Linkplay network more utile
Remember the movie iRobot? In the first scene with Will Smith, he puts on James Brown and has some music playing through his apartment. I wanted this from my Muzo Cobblestone setup, so I purchased three of those. To my dismay, they were (a bit) spotty and susceptible to where I had my Pandora-streaming AirPlay iPhone. And despite the amplified sources in multiple rooms, I couldn't quite enjoy the lyrics while in the shower- the whoosh of the water just made too much white noise. I found myself singing the chorus over and over without a real feel for where I was in the song.Right. So I needed a bathroom speaker to fix all this. I realize it's a bit over-the-top for someone to have simultaneous multi-room music in every room in the house, but hey- that's what this particular technology is for.So here's what I want to say about the E3. It's fantastic. It's Cobblestone compatible. I was able to link it into my Muzo Cobblestone network with ease. I don't know if I went rogue here, but this is what impresses me more than the price-acceptable sound:This device acts as a wifi repeater. I used the wifi-direct to change the SSID of this device. Then, I used (after trial and error), the Muzo App to change the network password. Then, I did something really weird. I made the 'Bathroom' my primary device, linking all of my Cobblestones to it. What I noticed is, my entire Cobblestone network now performs better. I went through some iterations of scenarios that have caused delay and dropped connection throughout my 1200 sqft ranch home and detached garage, and I can say that though they're not cured, they're 100% better. It's almost uncanny. I'd say confidently, the addition of this device made the investment in multiple Cobblestones come to life.

Can navigate music from the speaker without having to unlock your phone.
It took me a few minutes to figure out the controls on this speaker, but once I did I loved it. Basically plug it in, hold the power button then when you get the blue blinking light press the power button quickly to turn the blinking light white. Blue is WiFi mode, white is Bluetooth mode, and green is auxiliary cord mode. I checked the full range of the speaker and it will fill a room with some sound believe me, with very little distortion on the high end as well. The build in clock is nice too,and you can even set alarms on it.My favorite feature of this speaker is that you can navigate Spotify using only the buttons on the speaker without having to unlock your phone. So far I have only used it to skip to the next track and play/pause, which is all I need out of it, but it looks like there are a host of other options regarding favoriting channels explained in the manual.

Plays Like The Big Boys
The media could not be loaded. You could spend three times the money and not get better sound than this speaker. If you're into name brands, go ahead and waste the cash, but if you just want a quality sound and excellent features, this little beauty delivers. It's was fairly easy to set-up, but I made a video to hopefully help new buyers. The fidelity is top notch and the app works great. I've got mine in our living room and love having the clock display, plus the device itself is very attractive, we love the blue color. Please don't think I'm just praising it because I am a Top reviewer, it truly is a good product. I've been writing and making video reviews long enough to weed out the junk, so I try to only request and review products that are worth my time and of benefit to other Amazon customers. This internet radio/speaker is a winner all the way. Disclaimer: I received this product at a discount, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Better than what I expected. Good customer support.
I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker, but most of them were powered by built-in battery. Since all battery would die sometime down the road and it would be virtually impossible to replace the battery. Therefore, I decided to look for one that is plug-in instead, and I came across this GGMM E3 speaker. And the fact that this is not just a Bluetooth speaker and can also connected through WiFi got my attention. And when I saw it was on sale as a "Lightning Deal" from Amazon, that is even better. The speaker arrived quickly and in good condition. The packaging was nice with good protection. The basic setup was easy enough too. The instructions were clear. I already know that this speaker can get streaming music from the Internet, but what surprised me is that other then those listed in the descriptions, there are much more available. When I used the App provided by GGMM, I found that it can obtain musics from a lot of places around the world. The sound quality was nice too. One more thing to note: once you connect the E3 to your WiFi network, it actually also double as a repeater for your WiFi signal when it is on, so it could be handy in some cases. One more thing, it is possible to change the SSID name of the repeater signal. At first, I was having some problem with the APP on my Android tablet. Sometimes, the APP was not able to connect with the speaker. After experimenting with the problem, I found that the issue has something to do with my tablet's Android version being 6.0.1. The APP has no problem when running on my phone with Jelly Bean. I emailed their Customer Support, and they responded to me quickly. After a week or so, a new version of the APP was released, and my problem was resolved. Everything is working great!I am very satisfy with the purchase and their customer support. This product is highly recommended.

You have to hit the talk button everytime you wanna use alexa
The issue with this is you cannot be across the room and use Alexa commands you have to be next to the speaker and press the button. On top of this it also does not give you much time to make your command so you have to speak fast. Speaker is loud which is nice but I did not realize this when I bought it.Update: GGMM contacted me to try and make my experience better. Well I do appreciate their effort in this they seemed to only be concerned with my review changing than actually addressing my concern. I am still unhappy with the speaker but am appreciative that they at least took the time to contact me to try to help

Waste of money. Don't buy.
Sound quality was mediocre but functional. It is an alarm clock, not a speaker for listening to in your living room.It broke after about a month and never worked again. It never left the nightstand and wasn't dropped,it just quit playing music altogether. I threw away the thing because it was a massive clock that wouldn't even wake me up.

great
This speaker is pretty amazing. The only reason why gave it a 4 star is because when you plug your phone in it doesn't play through the speaker you still have to play through bluetooth/wifi.Otherwise it's amazing!
