Important book for Children of all ages
This book is such an important book for children of all ages. It does a beautiful job summarizing the Bible from Genesis through the Gospels. My family and I have read this book almost every night to the point of ragged pages and ripped spine, yet it still holds up very well against two toddlers. The illustrations are beautiful and the content is one of the most beautiful and well written summaries of Jesus throughout the old testament through to the new. It makes a wonderful gift for baby showers. Even if the parents are agnostic or atheist, I still buy this book for the children. It's beautiful bedtime story and maybe the parents hearts will soften after hearing the gospel in such a loving and gentle way.Warning, if you're emotional like me, you're probably going to get misty eyed on every read. After nearly 6yrs, I still get teary eyed reading it.

Beautiful illustrations and Gospel telling
Beautiful and fun illustrations and wonderful story of the Gospel! It’s great because it walks through the concept of sin in the garden and our separation with God, then the curtain in the temple which allows God to be here but still separate and then the cross which allows us to be reunited for eternity. So a great overview of all of scripture! And it’s all very accessible language for kids and adults!

Great product!
It’s a wonderful book that doesn’t picture Jesus which is super important to my family! Overall very educational and great for small children!

Magnificent, creative presentation of the Gospel to children (and adults!)
As a children's ministry pastor and mom of three, i LOVE this book! The whole series it's part of is excellent, but this is definitely one of my favorites. It is a gorgeously-illustrated, engaging, fun-to-read rendition of the Fall and Jesus' redemption on the cross. It explains sin in ways that children identify with. I love how relationally approachable God is portrayed. Also, the curtain is a unique angle to tell the Gospel message. Carl Laferton was artful in his writing, and the illustrations are colorful and engaging.

Wonderful!
This book is a perfect, age appropriate, way to introduce the whole gospel story to your children. I got it for my kids this Easter and I think it will only spark more and more conversation as they mature.

Great conversation starter for littles
I love the way this book connects the dots on the greater story of Scripture. It's a solid example of good theology scaled down to a kid level without losing truth. Even as an adult who has read the Bible many times, I was surprised at things this book highlighted in God's word that I had never noticed before.Only issue I had is that while the book talks clearly about Christ's free offer of salvation to all, there's no mention of the need for a response to that call on our part. If all you had was this book, you might assume that because of what Christ did on the cross, all people are now saved - this book doesn't make that claim, but it doesn't really make the "I am the door, no one comes to the Father but through me" part as clear as it should. But it's a minor thing because the rest of the book is strong, and that issue is fixed with a simple conversation adding the missing context.

Beautifully Written Gospel Story
This book is beautifully written, doctrinally sound, Christ exalting. The art work is equally as beautiful. It has easily become one of our favorite books to read about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Highly recommend!

Oversimplified Garbage
The book is garbage. It skips major parts of the Bible story, especially Jesus's life. Nothing about His miracles, nothing about his ministry. It doesn't even mention Adam and Eve's names. It's oversimplified to the point of being confusing. Why is it so hard to find a Bible book for young children that actually tells a coherent story?

The book every child needs
Explains creation, fall and redemption really well. My 3 year old loves this one the most compared to some others we got from the series.
