Since I don't like sashimi, I don't need the eyes of an expert sushi chef. What I need are well made futomaki and nigiri rolls, and this set is awesome. The first night I make about 40 rolls using veggies, tofu, egg strips, Kimchee, scallions, and then Nigiri with cooked butterfish and salmon. At the local sushi place, we'd be approaching a $100 bill and they'd never have just what I wanted. Kids lunches are gonna be sushi rolls, easy to pack, custom made (maybe PB and J sushi in the Bazooka?). It all goes on the top rack of the DW, ready for the next round. GET THIS ONE, cost less than one dragon roll at the market!! Fun, fun, just don't let the kids use the bazooka for food fights.

Bought this kit specifically bc other commenters mentioned it being user friendly for beginners specifically. I have two kids and a husband and we’re all eating sushi faster than it can be rolled up- so this was perfect bc we didn’t spend ALL night rolling out complicated rolls. The “sushi bazooka” is the main piece we used it I can’t rave about it enough! 10/10 would (and have) recommend(ed)

Be sure to check that everything is included in your box as soon as you get it. Bought it two months ago, quickly opened to peek inside, all looked good. Immediately wrapped it. Gave it to husband today for Father's day, and when we opened it and went through everything, learned that there was no knife. The knife is a crucial part of the set. Can't return it now.

The instruction pamphlet has really small print and frustrating to read. I even tried to use a magnified glass and it was still to small of print. I will more then likely put it away and not use it.

This is a complete set to make your sushi from home. It even comes with a recipe and instructions to make three types of sushi. My favorite is the mould to put the rice in and you can push out the sushi roll very easily. The plate for cutting is also super useful. I love it and can’t wait to make my first sushi roll with this.

My son is a sushi fanatic. Got this for him as a novelty gift for his birthday. He said it was his favorite gift out of everything else he got. We have not used it yet. But he is looking forward to making some sushi!

Everything works well. The push rod in the bazooka is a little short for making a trough for the fillings.

I bought this for my 17 year old daughter. She loves the set. This is her first time using anything like this. There was a bit of a learning curve but it didn’t take long for her to get the hang of it. She can’t wait to make more sushi rolls.
