The Steampunk Tarot Mini

I love this product. So cute and really easy to work with.It does not come with any meanings so if you don't know already what the cards mean, don't get this product.That being said, the images are really good (and tiny, you will need your glasses) and the cards are fun to use.The quality of the cards however is not great. I have worked with them a few times and it shows on the edges. The cards are not holding up well to shuffling.

Smaller than a small thing on national small day. No good for readings. No better than Christmas cracker card packs. Avoid at all costs. I didn't even bother to open just returned.

It was a chilly October day when I walked into my favorite bookstore browsing the metaphysical section and my eyes landed on the Steampunk Tarot. I had an incessant urge at the back of my mind to try getting into tarot, but I was a broke high school student at the time and didn't even know where to begin with the world of tarot. I bit the bullet and bought this deck for what was my entire month's allowance, daring to take that chance. And I'm SO glad I did. Almost 10 years later, this is no longer my only tarot deck (in fact my collection has...increased, let's put it that way), but I will always remember this as my first ever deck and it remains one of my absolute favorites. I wanted the mini just to add to my Steampunk collection--I have the regular size, the Polish edition with the thick cardstock and copper gilt edges, and now the mini!

These tarot minis are beautiful. The artwork is gorgeous. There's so much to absorb from one card - the details are great and there's a story in every card. The paper has the right amount of gloss and the paper is sturdy. It was packaged very well, with plastic wrap around the cards, and then around the pack. Then it was placed inside a thick cardboard wrap, so it managed an international journey to me, still in perfect condition. The only criticism would be that the edges should have heen guilded. Without that the edges lose their colour after using them for a bit. Other than that I am very, very happy with these tart cards and would recommend them.

The deck isn’t mini- it’s minuscule. Thank goodness that I have the full size deck, if I hadn’t I’d be more disappointed than I am right now. I have three mini decks already and they are a perfect size if I don’t have a large enough space for a reading. I adore steampunk and the regular sized deck. I have many of Barbara Moore’s tarot decks and books. Skip this “mini” deck, and purchase the full size. This is disappointing. I will have to donate this deck unfortunately.
