Nuvo Iron Decorative Insert, 15'' Square - Black, Aluminum, for Fencing, Gates, Home, Garden

We installed a pair of these inserts on a double gate, as shown in the photo. The gates are 8-feet high and about 3-feet wide each. For gates this big, it is a good idea to have a helper. It was important for us to align both inserts to be at the same height on each gate. The instructions in the box are OK, but we did watch the video on their website. It is worth the few minutes to do that. For this model we used a 9/16" spade bit at the corners and cut along the template line to adjoin the holes. If you cut right on the line the parts should fit well. There is not much room for error, though, so go slowly. If you have the gate down from its post and laying on some saw horses, the process of marking, drilling and cutting should take about 20 minutes. Assembly of the two halves of the insert are by way of included allen screws. The allen wrench is provided in the kit. There are two sizes of screws included. Use those which best match the thickness of the gate. We used the smaller screws as our pickets are 5/8 inches thick. Overall, it is an easy job once you have your gate set up and tools ready. We are very pleased with the product and the results. It would be a good idea to keep the allen wrench for maintenance time. These will be easy to remove and refinish should the finish fade or get scratched.

For years we always had a 4ft chain link fence and our dogs loved to run back and forth playing with the neighbors dog. But recently we removed it and installed a 6ft wood privacy board on board fence. The fence looks awesome but after a couple weeks we noticed that our dogs had lost their spunk or joy so we talked with our neighbor and decided to look online for a doggy window. There are not many options when it comes to a doggy fence window most of them are a bubble window and looks goofy, we found this one and ordered two. These are made of good quality material and just super easy to install. They come with a mounting templet and hardware. Both our dogs and our neighbors dog are back to running and barking, getting exercise and having fun.

I Love these! I bought 4. Ended up going back and buying 2 more. It give my fence such elegance that it makes it look like I spent $100,000 on my fence or more yet I paid under $7K. I have them high enough up that I can look through but my dogs can’t see the neighbors chickens or their running in their yard but I can look through it to see out like its a window. . It still allows for privacy. The elegance it bring to my fence is incredible. My contractor had no issues putting it in. It took him literally under 10 minutes, Im told as long as you can cut the hole, you can install it. It looks and feels well made. I could not be more happy with it. I didn’t include a photo of the gate which I had two installed there. I’ll go back and add a photo later. The price is really good. My contractor could not wait to post the photos and show other clientele. He was amazed at just how much it took my fence from plain Jane to very elegant. I am not rich but these made my fence look like something a millionaire would have on their fence. My house now needs an upgrade since my fence looks so damn good. I had people pulling over to take photos of them!!! Seriously you will not be disappointed if you buy these! They are sturdy and I do not think there will be any issues with weather etc. Just hose them off if get dusty etc.

These are upscale and beautiful! Absolutely make my gate and my fence. It's like wrought iron, it's not cheap plastic. Very happy with these.

My husband installed them and it looked pretty easy to do. The jigsaw is the most important tool for this project. Kit comes with a set of different sizes of screws and template for measuring where it needs to go. We used the shorter screws for this fence. This is aluminum, not wrought iron so you have to be delicate with it. One of the screw entrances broke off when we opened the package but we manage to get the screw in. I really like the fancy look. Overall nice product!

This was just what I was looking for for the gate on my new fence. Very well-made and relatively easy to install. Comes with a template for cutting the opening. I would definitely purchase this again.
