Q: It says free shipping then at checkout its adding an additional 12.95 why

Could be a number of things, you might be upgrading to faster shipping at checkout rather than the free shipping, if your in another country or maybe your selecting a seller who doesnot offer free shipping, hard to say.

Q: Why does the picture show a fitted hat?

Still 5 years later the photos are deceiving in color. My husband does like the one he received so no complaints. It’s a good quality hat. I’m not sure why the seller won’t get the colors right on the images

Q: Would this fit for a 7 7/8

My head is only slightly smaller than that and it fits my head, it is adjustable. . I'll see if there's a way I can upload a picture. It will still be in plastic wrapping from the manufacturer as I don't remove the packaging that products come in but it should give a better idea on the strap.
