I've used it on all the main three operating systems (Linux, Apple and Windows) and its recognized and functions perfectly. No drivers or installation is needed, its plug and play and works straight out of the box. I've also used it on my TV to watched stored films and again that worked without fault. Its small in size and lightweight, it comes with the USB wire for connecting the device and has fast read/write speeds. For me its an affordable way of adding extra storage and quickly transferring that media from one device to another. Really happy with it.

I've been looking for a long time to buy an external disk to use it as a storage for all photo and video albums clogging our phones, but considering the prices, i delayed evey time. Not anymore! When I've seen this 2TB drive for such a good price, I had to take it! Now, time will tell how reliable it will be in the long term but for now, it managed to impress me. I've copied over 100GB of photos/videos in just over 15 minutes, pretty decent considering is USB 3.0.The disk feels pretty solid and is very compact, so its easy to carry it with you if needed. The case itself has a great texture and it doesn't scratch that easy. As normal, it is plug-and-play so no setup needed, just plug it in and ready to go. I went for the 2TB model which will be plenty of space for a while. Like any other storage option, it is shy of 2 TB, standing at 1.81 but that is normal. Maybe formatting it with a more advanced method will unlock the rest of it but is more than enough for my needs. Lots of storage for such a good price, is a no brainer!

Excellent product.Ordered late at night arrived before 1pm next day.Did exactly what I wanted it to. Transferred photos from 2014 from PC and various mobile phones very quickly. Which enabled me to then put to sleep my delapidated computer before my move to a new home.Excellent price. I then re-purchased again for my son.

1tb portable disk drive, really strong dropped it once but nothing happend worked fine. The speeds for read and write are really fast and have created different partitions in windows very easily. Using exfat mac os can read and write to. Good value for money.

Does it pass the 1TB test?!Yes... Plug it in and does it "officially" show as 1TB! Yes it does... So a good price for all that GB!

I bought this as an extended storage for my PS4, as it’s advertised that it is compatible and the storage advertised for the price was great. It is recognisable as extended storage for your console but I wouldn’t exactly say it was ‘compatible.’The first hour or two after opening and plugging in it ran smoothly, but problems quickly arose.- If the hard drive was touched - even slightly - then the data would corrupt and would need repairing, usually resulting in reformatting the drive.- I know storage isn’t fully available as there is always space needed for system settings etc. But to advertise a drive at 320GB and only have 250 to use is just false advertising.- With these issues, I thought I could live with it and would just be careful. However, after a few days of it being plugged in my PS4 slowed down dramatically, a download that would normally take 30 minutes was estimated at 68 hours (which promptly reverted back to 30 minutes once the drive was unplugged.- Navigating menus became arduous as the cursor would freeze and jump/rubber band.This drive may work well with a PC/Laptop. But do not buy this for your consoles!

Pretty easy to use tbh. Make sure you have usb 3.0 on you pc/laptop it's usually coloured blue otherwise you won't get the full transfer speeds !
