Best Dashcam for the Price
If you're reading this, chances are that you've already spent a decent amount of time on Amazon browsing for dashcams, and found that most of them are from weird brands that you've never heard of before or the specs of the camera are conflicting and contradicting. I've had numerous Transcend dash cams over the course of owning my vehicles and I can confidently say that these are the best dash cams for the price. Installation is super easy, the camera mounts to the windshield via a suction cup rather than 3M adhesive, which in my opinion, is much better because it allows for easy removal and doesn't create a mess on the windshield when you eventually get a new vehicle and have to remove the camera. The video quality is great, the user interface is easy to navigate, and the camera itself is built well. These cameras come with a 32GB microSD card, which is really nice because you don't have to shop around for SD cards. This camera is a perfect example of "set it and forget it", because you set it up once, and you forget it's there until you need it.

Good dashcam, good download app for Android
Must say I was skeptical as it's a cost-effective unit but gave it a shot and must say I'm impressed. Had this unit in service for 2 weeks now in my car and no complaints. Suction mount holds fast to windshield and has not failed yet. Easy to adjust with integral adjustments on the stalk that holds the camera and comes with a very long cord and cigarette lighter plug. The basic memory card will hold about 8 hours of data before giving you a "memory full" message on the camera screen. At that point you have to connect to the camera through its internal Wi-Fi using an app from Google app store for Android or iPhone (you need to get the app anyway to set up the camera). It easy to view all of the day's vids and select and delete them to clear the card or you can select and download any clip (length is adjustable from 3 to 5 minutes) and save it or email it. You can also buy a separate micro sim card separately for more video storage but for the average person I can't think why 8 hours isn't enough if you don't have a TA in that time but to each his own. Picture quality is quite good for a lower end unit. As a commercial driver of over 30 years, I feel a bit safer knowing its on watching the crazies I encounter on my 700 mile weekly travels for business. Also it makes me a more conservative and cautious driver subconsciously because if I screw up I know the cam will catch that and I can then shame myself because I know better haha.

Works well
My main reason for purchasing this model is because I had the Transcend 200 model for many years & this newer 250 model uses the same mounts as the 200. This model has many more features, the photo quality is good enough for me, the price is reasonable. Transcend has very good support in CA if you need it.

Great value dash camera
I have been using this after my old dash camera broke and so far it functions well. It does the job as expected. Installing is easy since you just have to put the suction in place and you are ready to go. The suction power also has held up the varying range of temperatures. Video quality is not the best but you can still see the fine details and signages around you. For the price, I think it is a great option for budget to mid class dash cameras.

Best bang for the buck
This is my 4th Transcend dash cam I have been using the 200 Pro cameras for over 5 years and they are still going strong. This one is an improvement with higher memory capacity. So far it has been flawless.

Really good dashcam for the money
After my Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 stopped working properly, I tried a half-dozen different cams before I arrived at this one. Most worked to records, but they had lousy apps that didn't connect reliably to their cams, especially on an iPhone 14 ProMax.While this one still has some challenges on the app side when using an iPhone, which I think is at least partially largely due to iPhone functionality causing conflict, Transcend's app is still solid. Sometimes it takes a few shots to connect, but nowhere near as glitchy and prone to disconnects as other brands. Once it's connected on a drive, it stays connected. This cams shines in a lot of ways, especially for its cost. Takes really good 2k video in continuous loop without issue that is clear and capable of reading license plates with even when the car is 2-3 car lengths away. The screen is visible while driving, if you're so inclined, but the unit is still small enough to tuck behind a rear-view mirror for a tidier window, or if you want it less visible to the outside world. The app is simple and straightforward, without needless junk, but still has plenty of customization ability, plus it offers lane departure, too-close following, and speed warnings and a HUD if you want them. They're a bit simplistic, but work pretty well. I also like that the unit will take up to a 120GB microSD card, so you have ample storage if you want it.The negatives of this unit are small. The included 12' power cable is good, but it has a fixed 12V head on it, so you can't use this if you're already using your dash 12V socket for something else like I am, for my Escort radar detector smart cord, so I had to buy another USB tipped cable to plug into the Smart Cord USB port in my 2018 Murano. The other minor gripe is the included suction cup mount leaves a lot to be desired. It's limited in the spots it will adhere to on a windshield, basically only the smoothest glass parts and not the dimpled sun block portions, and has an annoying tendency to fall off in cold temps. I solved this problem by being another, better lock ring style suction cup mount here on Amazon.
