I didn’t use these on a window, rather I placed the on a window sill. And rather than using food like honey or whatever as bait, I found the best results were from using a laundry pod (specifically an All Free and Clear pod, although another brand might work.) It caused them to gather like… well, like flies.Of course, couldn’t reuse the pod because of the adhesive on the trap, but well worth the sacrifice, in my opinion.

Make sure to read directions and don't glue the wrong side to your window, like I did. It made a mess on my window with all the sticky stuff, my fault though. I've gotten lots of gnats stuck to these strips.

Only caught 5 or 6 fruit flies

This year the flies have been horrible. We’re in a tiny country community. But I hate flies. Even with all our efforts, I was fighting them constantly. I bought these and they camouflage the flies somewhat (wish they had black swirls, black Flowers, and black designs) but I bought them. I thought I’d hate seeing flies stuck on them. I wasn’t. I was excited that I didn’t have to hunt each of them down! Yay. They’re easy to put up, take down, and a lot in the box. I don’t know how, but the flies are attracted to them. Good investment and these had more in each package than others.

They work great

These are by far the best films I have ever used. Pretty as well for a fly trap.hiwer the adhesive strip could be on both bottom and top being the print is inside down.

You have to give these time to work and for the flies to find them and I suggest putting them where there is good light so the Flies can see the bright colored design. Mine even got a mosquito.

Un seul défaut, le dessin est imprimé a l'envers par rapport a la colle. Ce qui fait que les fruits ont la tête en bas. Sinon c'est vraiment efficace.
