I've always liked Miro and so this book is interesting to me, but it is missing so much of the artist's creations. Most of my favorites didn't make the cut so I had to take a star away. Otherwise, I guess it's a good introductory book.

The author and others put too much emphasis on the intent of Miro in his paintings. I think they are enjoyable to look at without trying to understand what each and every color, figure and format meant.
