Gold Bond Men's Essentials Talc-Free Body Powder, 10 oz., Refresh 360 Scent, Wetness Protection

After years of using baby powder for my undercarriage I figured I’d step into the world of “man powder”. After reading reviews and comparing prices and options I settled on this gold bond option. I’ve used the brand in the past, but not this specific powder. It’s great stuff! Has a unique, masculine sort of fresh scent to it, the powder is fine and applies nice and easy. That little tingle in enjoyable and it keeps you dry and comfy all day. I’m looking forward to staying dry and cool as a cucumber as summer starts to creep closer and closer. Stay dry my friends!

I have been using Gold Bonds talc free body powder for some time, very much liked the powder texture and mild fragrance, my only problem was as a few uses it became more difficult to turn the top to align the holes, so I began just leaving it in the open position. Then this reorder I noticed they had a new Men's version in a brown container, same size but different 360° fragrance. So I ordered 2. With the very first use, I knew it was a mistake to have changed...I gently shook the container over my open hand...nothing came out. I banged the container on the counter to clear the holes, shook again...a few granules of powder came out.. I had to rub my hands together to get the fine body powder. Took out the 2nd container...same thing. Obviously Gold bond changed the formula for this "Men's Powder"...difficult to shake out, and not a fine powder, actually need to squeeze the container to "blow it" onto your hand, which creates a cloud of powder floating inoriginal that I'm also breathing in. After I was done applying this granular powder I had a fine coating on the bathroom counter. I don't want to work this hard to put on body powder after a shower. I am returning these 2 and ordering the orginal. It would seem that Gold Bond did not product test this product very well at all...all I expect from this type of product is it dispenses easily and go on smoothly...it does neither. In addition, when applied to the groin area it had a distinct chilling sensation, as if it had menthol, which isn't mentioned in the product description.

I have been using the new spray in brown container for about 2 years. I have noticed recently that every one I have ordered the spray hole gets clogged after a few uses and becomes unusable. If gold bond doesn’t fix this issue I’m going to switch to a different brand. I dont know if they changed the spray pump or the powder formulation but shouldn’t be clogging so easy.
