Perhaps split broad beans might work better...
I'm a numpty and didn't read the recipe right! It's best to buy SPLIT beans not the whole ones.The product itself is absolutely fine - I bought the wrong kind is all.

Good for falafel
I bought these to make falafel - they are ok. They need a lot of soaking - at least 24 hours. You then have to peel them which takes a loooooong time. It's not their fault though, they didn't ask to be a bean.I think it probably took me an hour to peel 200g, but in front of the tv, it was quite therapeutic.

Stay hard when cooked even after soaked in water for 24hrs
Well this is my favourite veg of all, the pack was really big and seals when you do not need anymore, so easy to store, but after soaked in water for 24hr were hard and not very nice to eat.

Not many options for Dried Broad beans, but these benefit from 3 days of soaking
Large bag, good sell by date, but I think they are quite old already, they need soaking for 3 days to make them perform.
