How many gallons of milk does this package make?

The package says 4.5 cups of powder make 1 gallon (16 cups) of milk. So, the powder to milk ratio is 16/4.5=3.555. There are 129 Tbs. of powder in the jar. The jar will make 129*3.555=458.66 Tbs. of milk. There are 256 Tbs. in a gallon. Therefore, this package will make 458.66/256=1.79 gallons of milk. Yay!

What is the shelf life of this product?

First off the packaging is horrible once you open it you can't store it in the package it came with...you'll have to store it in a container that seals properly and it should last you about a month IF in a properly sealed container. FYI the milk tastes awesome..just store it well

what does it say 'under the bag'?

It says something like "you looked when we told you you shouldn't. We like that in a person." or something like "made you look. We like people who go against the grain." Don't have the bag anymore, so I can only give the gist of what it says, but it just reaffirms that people who use Anthony's don't follow orders....and that's a good thing!

What is the shelf life if unopened? How many years? Is it long term storage worthy?

6 months after being opened. Shelf life unopened is a year.

Perfect for the pantry.

I love this product because it has a great flavor and works for when I run out of store bought milk (husband drinks most of it). Stores well in the pantry in a jar and I love adding it to all sorts of things like gravies, stews/soups, biscuits, pudding mixes (I make my own), ranch dressing mix (homemade), and so much more. It is great and I don't get nauseated when I eat it like I do with store bought milk. It is easy to mix and doesn't leave clumps like some other brands I have bought.

Anthony's powdered milk is an excellent product and is very good substitute for liquid verson.

My husband loves this product because it tastes good and has a long shelf life. We don't go through a lot of milk, so we needed a powdered milk that was the real thing and NON-GMO. He can pre-package mixes now, that taste good . Holds up well to cooking and mixes well . Very good

Yum! Versatile dry milk powder

Love this milk powder. I use it in cooking, baking and fur adding to milk to help create thicker yogurt when making homemade yogurt. It's got a nice clean flavor and mixes well. I love the other products the brand offers, too. Always a good price, packaged well and if you'd, dependable quality. A pantry staple for me! It works well for baking and also mixes easily for use as a liquid when cooking or baking. I have also used as a coffee creamer. It mixes well with no clumid and tastes great.

The best powdered milk out there

Pure dried milk. NO other ingredients. That was the big seller for me. I use this all the time whether its for my older dog, homemade hot cocoa, gravy, or baking. I dont keep milk because it goes bad before I get it used. Living 20 miles out of town, its extremely convient to grab this off the shelf and use it whenever I am in need. The texture is smooth and creamy just like real milk. Its extremely easy to mix and honestly has no smell. The amount is perfect for me and has a long shelf life.
