Holm Stainless Steel Electric Coffee Bean Grinder

This grinder is awesome! It's not super quiet or super loud. I love the sleek design. You can grind a little over 1/4c at a time which is perfect for my French press.

We liked everything about this grinder, it looks great and functions as it should.

If you are super into the best grinder, this is not for you but it's a good inexpensive one. It does not do the best job getting all the beans ground. It will not grind very fine. So it's great for a coarse grind lover

I waited to review this coffee grinder because I wanted to see how well it lasted. Sadly, my initial happiness with this product changed after about 30 days. The blades lost their effectiveness after about 30 days. I now grind the coffee for a really long time, continually shaking the coffee grinder in a vain attempt to get it to grind the coffee. It is not possible to finely grind the beans anymore. It seems to be a short-lived and poorly made product. I will now go back to Krupps, which lasted for years, continually providing me with finely ground coffee.

I actually returned this Coffee Grinder. After looking around and doing some research I decided to buy this grinder. I am not sure if the one I got was not forking properly but I was not able to control the time it grind. On the three trials I made I always ended with extra fine coffee (for espresso) and the only way to make it stop was to unplug the cord. The instructions said that you could control the time releasing the button, but in mine it did not work. Another con I found is the cleaning. The metal base, where the blades are, cannot be De-attached, to pour the coffee and to clean you need to juggle with the whole grinder.It does the job of grinding fine (for espresso I can certify it does) but the one I got was the only size it grind. (I was looking to grind coarse for a french press)

This is a remarkably quiet grinder and does a good job producing a nice even-particled grind in a very short time. However it is probably better suited for grinding spices than coffee since the capacity of the bowl is quite small (holds only enough beans for about 6 cups of coffee) and the grinding bowl is not removable, necessitating picking up the whole unit to dump the ground coffee into your coffee maker machine while dealing with the electrical cord flopping about. For preparing beans for a whole carafe of coffee, another type of machine would be more appropriate. .

Bought is as a gift for a friend as I got one for myself. Surprisingly quiet motor and grinds up stuff very well.

So easy to use and works great.
