We were so pleased to find replacement canopies for our five patio umbrellas, especially ones as well made as these. Not only is the color perfect, but the seams are tight and well stitched, the grommet is reinforced and placed on double fabric, and the pocket for the rib is doubled for strength. There are no threads hanging from the seams nor are there skips in the construction. The only drawback on these is the wrinkling from the package, but, now that they are on the frames and in the sunshine, the heat from the weather has smoothed them out perfectly. I never thought it would be so easy to replace just the canopy - we had always tossed the entire umbrella and started over. What a great way to save money and have a great looking product, as well. Thanks, Amazon, for making this an easy transition and economical alternative to all new umbrellas.

They didn’t show the umbrella mount area in the photo. So I assumed it was universal until I received it.It has a steel grommet that fits over the pole to secure the umbrella.My pole has a threaded plastic section that the nut on top of pole screws onto the pole.So I had to cut the grommet out of the Fabric to get it to fit on the pole. Not ideal but u can make it work. Great quality otherwise.

I don’t like to write unfavorable reviews on products, but this one could have been better. For starters, the material is exceptionally thin. I had accidentally bought the wrong size replacement ribs (9' instead of 8'), and then discovered I needed a new canopy to fit. My original canopy was much thicker. This material is pretty thin, and the length *barely* fits onto 54" long rib posts. I can imagine the seams will wear out within a year, as the fabric is really being stretched.Another small gripe — and this is on me since I should have inspected the photo more closely — there is no tie on the canopy anywhere so that when you lower your ribs, you can tie the ribs and canopy together so that it doesn’t flap around or blow down. One other aspect I missed is how small the grommet hole is on top. 1/2"? Most umbrellas use 1-1/2" poles that have a larger grommet hole on top for the finial. Again, not the manufacturer’s fault on that one. Clearly this is made for more inexpensive umbrellas.Of course, what do you expect for $40? The answer is: not much. At least this will tide me over until I can save up another couple hundred dollars for a quality canopy that will weather well and fit better.
