I bought these for room lighting and have been loving them! I got two of these at $56 each, so not much more than the Philips Hue bulbs. I love that the internal battery allows them to be used in arbitrary environments as video lights. They're bright enough for most indoor settings, and I've had fun using them to light up my room and for some creative photo shoots. If you are a photography or videography enthusiast, this alone makes them superior to the Philips Hue bulbs that need to be socketed.

I bought a lamp from Amazon and put this bulb in it. The bulb is recharged when the lamp is plugged in. The bulb is rechargeable meaning I can take it from the lamp, doesn't take long to charge, then place it in other fixtures or hanging lamps, it is controlled by an app on the phone, easy to use and understand. You can also make some changed just using the buttons on the bulb itself. You can change colors and / or change the brightness from soft to dim to bright! Well worth investing money into.

bright bulb with many features. Very substantial bulb. And it runs off it's internal battery when needed! could load the app on two phones, using the same account, and easily control the bulb with either phone (using iOS 15 and 16). Use it to have red light inside during long winters. Doesn't use router which was a plus for me. Only negative is that it doesn't have a wake or sleep timer--seems like that would be an easy add to the app. If you want roughly the same capability with a timer, try the Govee B60051C1.

Good battery life!

Does what it says on the tin. The only thing that I haven't figured out yet how to turn a light off at the switch and have this bulb go off. Not very realistic if you have a character on screen turn off the light and the bulb doesn't go off!
