It is very comfortable but i'd like it a little wider even though it's the same size as my armrest.

I just bought a Honda Fit. When it comes to comfort, it's pretty decent -- apart from the armrest that is just way too low and narrow. I bought this cushion to raise the armrest and widen it. But because the Fit's factory armrest is really narrow and L-shaped (like 2-3 inches across), when you put this cushion on and put the weight of your arm on it, your cushion and your arm will sag down on one side. Not the kind of sturdiness you want in an armrest!I improved this problem slightly by slipping a piece of cardstock inside the cushion cover, along the bottom where it has contact with the factory armrest. But this isn't a perfect solution -- it reduces, but doesn't eliminate, the sag.Additionally, the material on the bottom is so slippery that no matter how tight you make the straps, the cushion moves around and you have to readjust it all the time. I just need to get around to putting a black non-slip mat underneath. It would have been ideal if the cushion had a nonslip bottom by default, though.I'm keeping the cushion for the time being, but I have a feeling I'll just want to eventually upgrade my center console with an OEM part that's more sturdy and stable, but higher and wider.

I think this is a pretty good armrest, but it's the only one I've ever bought so I don't have anything to compare it to. It's cushy and yet still firm enough for me to be comfortable. My husband isn't a fan of it (although he's not a fan of much;-). I'm a short person and the extra height the high side gives is great for me. I have this installed in a 2018 Subaru Outback. It's only slightly smaller than the car's low armrest/console. The straps buckled up just fine. The problem I have with it and the reason I took off a star is that since it's slightly smaller than the car's center console, it like to stay centered, making it a bit awkward to put my elbow on it as it feels too far away. I'm constantly pulling the armrest over towards me so my elbow and arm are in a good position to use it. I'm thinking I will end up cutting off the straps and using velcro to attach it to where I want it and keep it there. Other than that, I very much like this product so far.

I am a 5'4" female with longer legs than torso. My default seat setting is all the way back, and all the way up for the best visibility and comfort in driving. I drive a 2017 Nissan Rogue, and as soon as I got settled in for my first little road trip (about 2 hours of highway driving), I knew that I needed to find a solution for the lack of an elbow rest in this car. I looked at lots of possibilities, but after measuring the distance I had to make up, this was the only one that was high enough for me to rest my elbow and reach the steering wheel at the same time.I was very happy with the quality of materials and craftsmanship as soon as I opened the package. It was very easy to adjust and install. I installed it with the straps going around the lid of the console, so I can leave it in place while opening and closing the console storage area. It is comfortable to use. The only downside is that my center console area that I use for storing loose change is difficult to get to because the elbow rest is hanging over it- but that is where I need it to be. This is a problem with my car, not with this product.

I love my car, but my armrest needed to be higher and come forward for my driving comfort. This pad is perfect! It is very attractive and provides a great cushion, but I can also unclip the front strap and scoot it forward so it kind of hangs over the edge of my existing center console armrest. This gives me added height and enables me to rest my elbow while also holding the steering wheel (on road trips, for example). This was a great purchase for me and I highly recommend it! The adjustable straps are also great and do not interfere with the center console opening/closing.

This product is Awesome, it is exactly as stated in the description and the picture is spot on.My review: This is a soft memory foam elbow rest. My elbow sinks right into it and is very comfortable. Straps are a little too long, but I don't care about that. Fits perfectly in my Pontiac Vibe GT, right on the existing arm rest. Planning on buying another one for my girlfriends SUV.I actually want one of these as a car seat, however, that might be a little too warm, but as a car seat, wow, that would be incredible.

I like this, but it doesnt perfectly fit or stay in place like I hoped. The clasps also get caught when trying to open and close the center console, which is a minor nusiance. And in cold weather this thing is as hard as a rock until it heats up again. Will continue to use and enjoy though despite those minor flaws.

A good quality fabric memory foam armrest. Dosen't shift or move around which is good.This loses 1 star because, I would personally prefer a firmer armrest. On long trips it sinks too long and I have to remove my arm for the memory foam to reset.
