Bought these to cut out holes in a plastic control box and wmthey work great.

I originally bought these to cut out some door latch recesses. You know, that small area of the door edge where the latch sticks out. Its about 2 inches long, by 1 inch wide, by 1/8" deep. That is a bit too much material for these small bits and a Dremel tool. If I really worked at it, I might have finished a couple doors before the head was dull but I had 12 doors to do. I ended up using these bits and the Dremel router attachement to clean up the holes I made with a chisel, they worked great for that. Just don't expect too much out of these and you will be happy with them.

These little heads cut quickly at first, but they go dull rapidly. I went through three heads in about an hour and a half of carving white oak. These are the first of these carving heads that I’ve ever tried, so I’m not sure if they’re better or worse than others. I think I’ll order some different ones to see if they last longer and cut faster.
