it’s beautifully done

I recently purchased the RSV-CE paperback version of the Catholic Bible published by Saint Benedict Press. I knew I would use it constantly and I wanted to preserve it as much as I could. This fabric book cover fit it perfectly. Because my Bible is paperback, I cut out two pieces of cardboard to give the front and back covers some sturdy structure. I simply inserted each cardboard piece into the fold of the bookcover next to the paperback's flimsy front and back covers. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This cover is for a mid-sized hardcover book only. I read mostly small/normal-sized paperbacks, and this cover looked sloppy and dumb on them, it was difficult to get it to stay on, and it wasn't big enough for other books. The hook-and-button closure did not allow for a tight fit, and the overly-long, elaborate built-in bookmark was too thick to use and looked ridiculously hippie-ish. Overall the silliness of the cover caused me added attention, which was the opposite of what I wanted (I want strangers on the bus to stop chatting with me about a book because they've also read it).I was able to return this cover for a full refund without any hassle, so I am happy about that.

Did not fit exactly like I expected. Measure twice, buy once. It did not fit my Bible as I wanted.

Trying to preserve my Bible cover. This was easy to use. Was afraid to order wasn't sure it would fit. I had the library fix the spine so I wanted to use it for Bible the cover flakes.
