Are these used stoves? There are a ton of reviews that say they bought new stoves that arrived clearly used, covered in food and grease.

Yes. I bought one Sterno stove. When it arrived, was clearly used. Contacted Amazon and they sent another. I deposited return package of 1st stove up the street, then later - same day - went down the street to pick up the replacement (Amazon locker). Opened it. Again - CLEARLY USED. I actually wondered if the delivery person just put my return into my pick up box. Did not try a third time. FYI, that was not the only thing we've purchased lately from Amazon that had been used.
