Awesome winch for the money, love the remote

I’ve had one of these on my 2002 Jeep TJ for over a year now and it has never failed. Just bought another one for my Jeep JL. Using a snatch block and anchoring my TJ to a large tree, I was able to roll a full size truck back onto its wheels that had flipped over and the winch never got hot.

I have been using the 13.5 for 4 years now and believe me i have put it through hell and back from snow wheeling in deep snow aired down with buddys to pulling some big logs for firewood it has a lot of use, seems I really need a winch or two in my truck family always have ,and for the rope yes it turns pink instead of red from abuse but it is amazing I am not worried about breaking my line at all that stuff is crazy strong. I was on here looking for another xbull winch to install n my car trailer and thought I would give a review on the 13.5 synthetic rope winch. really it pulls and behaves as well or better than all others including WARN I have played with guys that have them all, and the remote always get praise from everyone the dual function is really nice [ corded or remote same controller} anyways I Love this Winch and would buy another in a blink. hope this help with all the winchs to choose from these days, it looks good to.

I’ve been quite pleased with it. I’ve used it to pull a light pole across my yard that had been sitting for years. My jeep isn’t heavy enough to bog it down. It’s more of f a tool for me than a recovery winch. The remote has been working well and works every time I need it to. I keep a cover on it to protect it from water and sun. Can’t complain at all about it. If I had to do it all over again, I would get a more water tight version. About once a year hft will have their good one for just a few dollars more than this one. That’s what I should have done. Waited. I actually am happy with this winch and will keep it and use it around the house like I have been. Just keeping it covered.

Straight forward install. Like the combo wired/wireless remote.

i am sure its a good winch but returned it would not fit my jeep ,my setup was to close to the radiator ,with that said i never got to use it ,but just the fill seemed to be made of good quality

This is an early review which will be updated as I use this winch more. I recently bought a two-place advantage bumper pull car trailer for retrieving project cars I find on my travels. Pictured is a 1970 XKE Jaguar that has been sitting for about 23 years. One tire was flat and one disc brake was not releasing all the way and dragging pretty good. This winch made short work of getting it on the trailer. It did labor a bit as the car started to walk up the ramps but it didn't concern me at any point that it couldn't finish the job. That aside, it has a quality feel, the remote works flawlessly and it works and fits very well with the optional 2 inch receiver cradle. I do think the hook could be a bit bigger as far as the opening but that is largely my only complaint.

The winch is very nicely packaged. Very happy with my purchase looks great on the front of my jk . Works great very happy with my purchase
