Good stuff! We tried everything to stop our shower drain smelling from pouring bleach, Milton fluid, Mr Muscle drain cleaner and even the anti bacterial sticks you can now buy. Nothing worked so I purchased the above product as a last resort. The container was easy to open and I couldn't detect a strong smell from the product. I waited until the evening to pour the liquid down the drain (wearing rubber gloves as the liquid is caustic) I poured approximately half the bottle down the drain and waited to see if anything bubbled - no bubbling and thought 'I hope it's worked' Left the liquid in the drain overnight, woke up and went into the bathroom expecting the same horrible smell - no smell! Still no smell over a week later! After trying several other products to get rid of the smell, I believe I had hair trapped in the drain which bacteria was growing in. This product removed the hair so the bacteria couldn't grow. Brilliant!!

Así como lo leyeron, hizo el trabajo que 3 plomeros no pudieron hacer… Tenía una coladera tapada (me imagino que con grasa); el caso es que el agua tardaba en irse. Probé agua hirviendo, bicarbonato de sodio, de todo y nada funcionaba para destapar mi problema… Total, vi una reseña en internet sobre este producto, que prometía destapar cualquier drenaje. Confié, lo compré, lo utilicé y FUNCIONÓ. Seguí las instrucciones tal cual vienen en el empaque. No más, no menos. Una vez vertido el líquido y finalizado con el agua HIRVIENDO se debe dejar reposar sin utilizar el drenaje. Debes de esperar al menos un par de horas para que empiece a carcomerse la obstrucción que había. ESTÁ COMO NUEVA MI COLADERA, el agua fluye como nunca h me ahorré una lana con los plomeros ineficientes. Tip de compra: lo venden en la ferretería naranja HD en menor precio. Recomendado ampliamente.

Our shower was not draining properly for some time as we have a sink next to our shower, tried all sorts products from the supermarket shelf’s but to no avail. When the sink was drained water would rise in the shower tray leaving a nasty smell as well. Tried this product used half of it’s contents and left it overnight and flushed using boiling water from the kettle the next morning. It not only stopped the back draining from the sink but when having a shower it’s draining properly and quickly, I endorse this product. PS, I didn’t pay any attention to the health & safety instructions ( boring ) wearing the gloves and goggles etc, as long as you don’t do something stupid your ok.

After reading the instructions I expected this Scotch pipes unblocker to melt the bathroom pipelines and was really concerned about leaving it overnight! There is definitely an improvement, the water drains now quite quickly, and there was no lye smell in the bathroom after I used the product. Although I recommend using this Scotch product for a couple of nights in a row to completely clear the pipes. One bottle is enough for a couple of nights' treatment. I would certainly recommend this product and will use again. I am not sure how "safe" this product is: they require you to cover the drain with plastic to stop the lye escaping... Or have I become paranoid after reading the scary instructions?

best drain cleaner! Sturdy bottle doesn't leak and comes in a plastic bag to be extra safe against spills. Easy to use, I pour it down the drain before bed and in the morning I run hot water and it all clears out in less than 30 seconds. No weird smell, does the job well, even with hair!
